Khanh was one of the BEST waiters I have come across in a long time. He is very knowledgable about the dishes and offers. He was extremely pleasant and we did not have to wait for refills or wait long for him to come back around to see if all is well. Also, the food was delicious. Big portions and very tasteful. I would recommend this place 10/10. I will definitely be back.
Beautiful place to have a elegant Italian dinner. The menu was amazing, I could not make up my mind for what I wanted to eat, everything sounded so good. The drinks were yummy too, Pomogranate Martini, Mmmmmm ❤️❤️😋😋 The meal portions were huge and we definitely had leftovers at the end of the night. We will be coming back again to try more great dishes 😁😁😁
My girlfriend suggested we order the $53/person dinner...2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 entrees, 3 deserts (the butter cake is amazing) ...we left with enough food for the next 3 days! Not a bad deal! (because we took the last reservation of the evening I think the food was already prepared and sitting, not freshly made, but it was still pretty good, so I did'nt complain, but you can taste the difference) Maggiano's is a family-style Italian restaurant, with old-school, traditional decor, on the upscale side for a chain restaurant. Staff is always very professional. Food is consistently very good.
I wish this chain was in Hawaii... ATMOSPHERE: The decor is very chain-like and simple. This particular location is pretty big. FOOD: Italian Chopped Salad Chopped iceberg, tomatoes and crispy prosciutto with their house dressing. I was surprised at how tasty their house dressing is, not tangy at all. The prosciutto gave the salad a nice salty balance. Got the bleu cheese on the side cause that's a yuck for me. Calamari Fritté Tentacle & ring portions, yes! The breading was a bit heavy but the flavor was good. Comes with marinara sauce for dipping. The portion is huge, even for 3 of us. Chef KB's Lobster Carbonara They were out of lobster but substituted it with crab which was totally fine. The amount of crab was very generous. The pasta was cooked nicely and the cream sauce was tasty and not heavy. Came topped with fresh & crispy snap peas and bacon crumble. Delish! I wish I didn't eat so much calamari and salad because I couldn't finish it. SERVICE: Walked in without reservations at 6:45pm on a Monday and got seated immediately. The last booth we got was next to the kitchen so it was like watching a server's marathon. Our server was great. Very friendly & professional. It was restaurant week in Philly so they were packed. All the servers were buzzing around the entire time. OVERALL: A totally nice surprise of a restaurant. The food was great, prices good for the portion received and got good service.
We love Maggiano's! We usually go for a special occasion. Today was my birthday. The food is delicious and a good portion. Needless to say, we brought home some leftovers. Our server Alex is the best. This is the second time he has served us.
