Amazing!! If you wish to have a table you must have a reservation. I would definitely book it a day in advance or so. Lucky enough they had two seats available at the bar for my friend and I as walk ins (if you walk in its first come first serve depending on seating available at the bar) We had gotten pickle pizza and pickle truffle fries. They were delicious!!! So so so good. Came out in a timely manor and definitely tasted high quality :) the staff were all very nice and accommodating. The man at the bar was also very entertaining and friendly :) As for their drinks, my friend had gotten a cocktail and I had gotten a mocktail - they were amazing. The mocktail had imitation rum in it and it tasted exactly like rum without the burning sensation liquor gives you! Overall a great restaurant, very lively location. Loud but you can still talk to people around you. Incredible food and amazing atmosphere. The theme of the restaurant is so much fun, always so much to look at! Highly recommend.

Wow, Wow, Wow! Best pizza in Hamilton by far for deep dish. Ordered the “do you wanna” and the “secret pickle pizza” and both were packed full of flavour. The do you wanna with fig jam, ricotta and basil paired perfectly together with the fig jam and ricotta placed to perfection with each bite. The secret pickle pizza with bacon, pickles, dill and a roasted garlic mayo drizzled on top that pull everything together(a pickle lover’s dream!) Great Lebanese garlic dip but the flavour was so good I’m saving for a great Caesar salad or back up dip option from another pizza place. Drinks were good not too strong but not overly flavourful. The star of the show was the Cuban libre with Mexican Coca Cola which was made perfectly. We also ordered “The hurricane” with a blend of rum and passionfruit had the funniest “broken umbrella” in it and the “cocojito”or as we called it the bird cup with coconut syrup, rum and pisco. Loved the vibes, atmosphere and all the tiki inspired decor. Definitely a place to check out. But make sure u make a reservation as they are often filled booked and parking can be hard to find.

Genuinely one of the best pizza spots in town. Highly recommend getting reservations well in advance due to active hours and waitlist, but it's so worth it. Serves Detroit-styled pizzas. Loved everything: the parm waffle fries, the pepperoni pile on and was surprised with the sweetness of the donair pizza. I keep finding myself just thinking about MaiPai and how good it is. Aesthetic is beautiful/hilarious: kinda like a punk-tiki mashup. Lots of character thoughout the environment if you look around. Note: Has halal/vegan subsitutes for pepperoni/bacon respectively.

If you’re looking for a spot in Hamilton that feels like a total escape from the daily grind, you have to hit up MaiPai on Barton. Honestly, walking through the door is like stepping through a portal. One minute you're in the cold and the next you're in this incredibly cool, dimly lit piece of paradise. The Vibe & Decor The decor is a 10/10!!! Its an authentic tiki bar through and through, but without any of the pretentiousness. The tropical lighting, and the overall "hidden gem" feel make it the perfect place to just kick back and actually talk to the people you’re with. The Food The best pizza in the fricken world. You wanna talk about lick your hands good. Fluffy cheese-tastic crispy crust with flavor galore. I got the Supreme with vegan pepperoni and vegan bacon and honestly died!!! Don't sleep on the wings or the Parm Fries. Seriously, the wings are a mandatory order. ​You cannot go to a tiki bar and not talk about the cocktails. The drink menu is a masterpiece—perfectly balanced, boozy, and packed with fresh tropical flavors. But the real showstoppers are the mugs. Your drink might arrive in a ceramic crane, a coconut, or a custom tiki god mug that looks like a piece of art. It makes every round feel like an event. If you fall in love with them (and you will), than you're in luck because you can ourchase them so you can take a piece of the MaiPai magic home with you. The Service (Shoutout to Ace!) The service was what really took the night from great to unforgettable. Our server, Ace, was absolutely spectacular. Sometimes you go to a "cool" place and the service feels distant, but Ace was the total opposite. They were super chill, genuinely friendly, and went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Even after a harmless mistake they still made sure I was walked out a happy camper!!! Now stop reading this and make your own reservation!! Dooo it. You won't regret it!!

MaiPai Hamilton is hands down one of my favorite pizza spots! The pizzas are perfectly cooked with a crisp, golden crust, fresh toppings, and flavorful sauce. Each slice is loaded with quality ingredients, and the combinations are creative without being over the top. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. The atmosphere is casual and fun, perfect for dinner with friends, or a night out. If you love pizza that’s both delicious and thoughtfully made, MaiPai is a must-visit in Hamilton!
