Just visited the place as we are after lots of furniture for our bar , as we arrived the place was closed with a sign on the window saying "please ring were only 5 minute away" after waiting over 15 minute we decided to leave as we are to busy to hang around for a clearly poorly run business, after we left 10 minute later we got a call of a "lady" saying they have arrived , we said we had to leave , then after that we got a mouth full of abuse and her language was appalling, WILL NOT BE RETURING , So glad we never done business with this place , should be shut down ! Silly woman

We have visited on several occasions and bought a few bits of furniture for an old cottage. Always very helpful in finding the right type of item, also good prices, and even helped load up our van to ensure no damage during transit. They have a very wide range of stock and quality / price to suit all budgets. Looking forward to my 8th visit!

Unbelievable amount of stock, had everything and wanted and even went out of their way to find me a particular piece. Fantastic service. Would highly recommend!

Very knowledgeable, massive stock, I picked up a house full of items which they delivered. I have to say a nice set of people with a keen eye for quality.

Unless you are child free, or if you do have kids, you like being immediately rudely insulted and asked not to come in, this is not the place for you. The boss is quite possibly the rudest proprietor we have ever come across. Unfortunately I cannot leave a review without giving a whole star. In reality, I give no stars. We were visiting from Hampshire with a view to furnishing a 5 bed rectory we have purchased in Cornwall. We rang the bell as indicated, and the first thing we were told when the door opened by a member of staff was that our kids must not touch anything. Our 4 kids are used to antique shops and reclamation yards, and were under the supervision of their two parents and their live in nanny. They were under strict instructions to touch nothing. Nonetheless, we re-iterated this instruction in front of the staff. We had no more walked in the door (and the kids had not even got in the door) when the boss walked up to my husband and said "I can't help you. You have kids. You will have to leave." We did. The premises is in a yard with stables, and the kids would have been happy waiting outside with their nanny stroking the horses, or even in the car. If they were worried about furniture falling on the kids (it is stacked) a simple polite request would have sufficed. At the slightest expression of concern for the children's safety we would have removed them. The kids would have gone outside and we would have shopped and most likely bought a substantial amount of furniture which is what we had come to do. There was absolutely no need for the blatant rudeness of the staff at this business. In stark contrast the antiques suppliers and reclamation yards which show up on the same google search for the area were truly delightful. They welcomed the kids, explained what the more unusual objects were, and some had toys and lollipops. The kids didn't touch anything in any of the premises we visited unless they were invited to do so. With so many independent businesses selling antiques an giving a totally positive experience in the area, there seems little need to go here just to be insulted. Save yourself the insults and shop elsewhere. We have made a referral to the local trading standards.
