Martial Arts World Glen Allen has been an incredible experience for my daughter. My child is enrolled in the after-school program, and the structure, consistency, and care they provide have been outstanding. The program emphasizes discipline, confidence, and respect while still being engaging and fun for the kids. As a parent, I truly appreciate their excellent communication. They do a great job keeping families informed about schedules, progress, and events. It is also a huge help that they are open when school is closed and during most inclement weather days, this reliability is invaluable for working parents. On the days when my child has her moments, the discipline backed by love is incredible. I especially appreciate when Master Bane provides me with clear, thoughtful feedback, explaining what occurred and what steps were taken to help correct unwanted behaviors. Knowing that discipline is handled with care, consistency, and compassion gives me complete confidence in the program. I have been so impressed with the overall experience that I even recently joined as an adult student myself. I highly recommend Martial Arts World Glen Allen to any parent looking for a dependable, well-structured, and high-quality after-school and martial arts program overall.

Thank you Martial Arts World Glen Allen for working with my kids and teaching them core values. They love coming to the program each day and are excited each time they earn a new belt. I especially wanted to thank Master Bane for taking the time to speak with me after an incident that was brought to my attention. It was resolved promptly and helped us feel as parents that our kids are safe there. Recently submitted emails to discontinue my child’s afterschool program due to poor communication, leadership, and continued bullying towards my child since 06/2025. To be an owner or CEO it requires ADULTS to have the ability to communicate effectively, structure within the organization, and have a team or staff that has a passion for what they do. Most recent incident resulted in me being the adult to reach out to the owner via email. Emailed was “addressed” poorly no empathy or compassion. According to Master Bane when I spoke with her the following evening she couldn’t speak to the parent that evening of the incident because she was trying to get my child’s COAT. 01/2026 bullying incidents resulted in my child having melt downs, reaching out to school counselors, his PCP, and my employer for assistance.

Our daughter has learned self determination; leadership skills; discipline; self defense; and respect for herself and others. The staff is enthusiastic; helpful and kind. Master Bane is a great motivator, who is firm yet rejoices when a student succeeds. We are watching our daughter grow into a respectable young lady. I could not be more pleased with our family's experience here. Master Bane is brilliant; and firm yet patient with the children. I feel relieved leaving my child in their care knowing she and her incredible team run a "tight ship." The leadership encourages and excites kids about physical, mental, and emotional health and success. Unlike many summer programs that only do field trips once a week, if that, they are always doing something fun and exciting with the kids. They are very engaging and responsive (Debra promptly responds to emails, and I email her often). We are thankful for Martial Arts World of Glen Allen and their exceptional leadership! Our son is thrilled to test for his yellow belt soon!
