As a parent, I can honestly say MASA Kidz Club has been one of the best decisions for my family. We first joined back in 2014 when my kids were little, and it’s been a constant in our lives ever since. What I’ve seen over the years is not just kids learning kicks and blocks, but kids learning respect, resilience, and confidence in a really supportive environment. One thing I really appreciate is the structured reward system. Kids earn recognition based on effort, not just ability, which helps them develop self-respect and persistence. I’ve seen my children come out of class standing a little taller because they’ve been acknowledged for working hard. There was even a time when my son was disrespectful in class and was held back from grading. It was tough for him at the time, but it ended up being one of the most valuable lessons. He realised that respect for his Seniors, classmates, and the Art matters just as much as technique. Instead of giving up, he pushed through, grew as a person, and now he’s a black belt who loves mentoring the younger students. Watching that transformation has been incredible. The instructors here genuinely care. They know every child by name, they set clear expectations, and they back it up with encouragement. MASA embodies the core values of Soo Bahk Do — History, Tradition, Philosophy, Discipline/Respect, and Technique. These aren’t just words; they guide how classes are run and how students are encouraged to carry themselves both inside and outside the dojo. As a parent, I’ve seen my kids take those lessons into their schoolwork, friendships, and everyday life. For any parent thinking about martial arts for their kids, I can’t recommend MASA Kidz Club highly enough. It’s been a safe, structured, and inspiring place for my children to grow, both in character and in skill.

I can't recommend MASA enough. With decades of experience behind them, they’ve built a truly outstanding program that goes far beyond just physical training. Their focus on improving both the body and the mind is evident in every class, and the positive impact it has on people’s lives is real. My Partner and her family are currently enrolled, and I’ve seen first-hand how much they’ve grown—not just in strength and fitness, but in confidence, discipline, and overall mindset. It’s amazing to see the transformation. The instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely care about the growth of every student—no matter their age or skill level. It’s a supportive, motivating environment that welcomes everyone and pushes you to become your best self. If you’re considering martial arts for yourself or your family, I can’t recommend MASA highly enough. Whether your goal is fitness, self-discipline, confidence, or all of the above — this is the place to start. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been a student here for 10 years, and it has truly changed my life. The program has helped me grow so much in confidence, as well as my resilience and understanding of the importance of respect. The flexibility of having multiple classes each week makes it easy to manage alongside other commitments. I’ve also seen my own family members, along with many others, grow and benefit from the program. Most importantly, the owners, Ma’am and Sir (Tammy and Ray Sargeant), have always been caring and supportive, especially during my lowest times. I’ll always be grateful for the love and guidance they’ve given me, and I would highly recommend this program to other families.

MASA has been an absolute blessing for our family, especially our 5 year old son. From the moment he started we have seen huge growth in his confidence, discipline and overall character. The teaches at MASA are not only experts in Martial Arts but are also incredible mentors who genuinely care about all their students development in and out of class. We are so grateful for the supportive and encouraging environment MASA provides. Seeing our son thrive has been one of the most rewarding experiences for us as parents. MASA has truly had a life changing impact on our son and we could not recommend it enough!

This place is located next to one of the busiest roads in Adelaide. There's a carpark at the back which sometimes gets full so, you have to park your car in the next street. As a parent, you need to wait in the lounge; however, you get to see your kids through monitors. Ray and the team makes marshall art fun for kids in different ages.
