The worst absolute experience - clinician prescribed medication that I supposedly "might be allergic to" and it was ineffective in treating the cause of the issue. Explanation of medication being prescribed was filled with jargon and was unclear. It has been over 6 months since my appointment and this location filed incorrect billing codes which my insurance has had to ask them to re-bill. Horrible communication about billing, had to file a higher level appeal through my insurance and they have not resolved the billing code issue still (it's been over 6 months). Every time I call them they have no new information, cannot explain the hold up, and will contradict the information my insurance company has communicated. Do not go here!

All staff were so kind and helpful and quickly helped me as soon as I walked in due to a quick emergency allergic reaction. There are not many urgent cares in town near the Seaport area so I came here and thankful they were open til 8:30am. Thank you!

Arrived over 3.5 hours before closure and was told they were at capacity which is fine. Decided to come 1.5 hours later (2 hours before closing) to find that the waiting room had turned over completely, so new patients were seen. I explained to the desk person that I would gladly wait whatever it took but to just intake me so that I could be in the queue, even if I did not get seen that night. She refused to let me stay in the wait room, to see if spots cleared. I understand urgent care is not legally obligated to take patients but a little compassion goes a long way. It would have costed her nothing to let me wait in the waiting room with the chance of being seen that night (even if not guaranteed). I called MGH to confirm and they said that they would still take me since they had theoretical capacity. I even offered to pay the copay upfront just for the chance of waiting but she refused still. The place as others have put it is the furthest thing away from compassionate or friendly to patients (front desk staff). Provides on the other hand have been good on other occasions I’ve been.

My daughter, a college student, and away from home for the first time, went to this urgent care four separate times for the same ongoing illness. Each visit, she was met with rudeness, zero compassion, and complete dismissal. Instead of truly assessing her worsening condition, the staff acted as if she were asking for controlled substances rather than a simple antibiotic. They repeatedly refused to prescribe anything helpful, told her there was “nothing more they could do,” and actually suggested she go to the ER instead. When she finally did, the ER doctor was shocked by the level of inflammation in her throat and immediately prescribed antibiotics — something that should have been handled days earlier at urgent care. This place is the definition of incompetent and careless medical practice. To treat a sick, scared college student so coldly is unacceptable. If you care about being taken seriously or treated with basic respect, go anywhere else.

I had excellent service at the urgent care. I was promptly attended to at the reception, had a sample collected for tests, received medical attention, and got my prescription in less than an hour. It was really good.
