I have loved training at this gym. Melissa has created such a positive space for women and any person interested in sustainably building strength and caring for their body. The semi-private format has been excellent. I appreciate the individual attention and the great energy from the other people in the group. The trainers are knowledgeable, motivating, and just fun to be with. I've enjoyed working with each of them. We are able to efficiently work on mobility, individual areas of focus, and strength training with individualized weights and modifications as needed. So much care and thought is put into each person's programming.
Mbodied is fantastic! I’ve been attending classes for almost a year now and I love it. My trainer, Hrishikesh, provides just the right level of encouragement to push me but also tailors moves depending on what I might need for that day. Before I started at Mbodied I was looking for personal training that would keep me consistent in strength workouts and keep me able to do all my outdoor activities (hiking, cross country skiing, running). I tried another gym first that felt too generic and led to worsening my hip/lower back issues. Since I’ve been at Mbodied, I’m feeling strong, injury free, and ready for what ever I want to do outside the gym.
I’ve been going to MBodied for the last year and highly recommend it for folks that struggle with injuries or are looking to build a strong foundation in fitness. It blends the customization that comes with personal training with the community that comes with group training. I injured my back at F45 across the street (I was lifting completely wrong and hurting myself). I’m so glad MBodied was there to provide a slower, more rehabilitation focused alternative that’s helped me better understand my body, learn to lift properly, and work through my injury. I worked primarily with Melissa (the owner) and Hrishikesh. Melissa is great about proactively asking you where you feel an exercise to pinpoint any muscle weakness/imbalance. She brings great energy and is always taking feedback from her clients. Hrishikesh is great about tracking your weight progression, giving cues for proper form, and providing excellent modifications to adjust the workout for how your body feels that day. He’s also very encouraging and passionate about sharing the latest research in fitness. I’m so grateful for all the tools MBodied has given me in managing my health this past year. If you’re feeling stuck in your fitness journey, definitely give them a try!
I have been training at MBodied, with Kellen for about 6 months. I like the structure of each workout, and appreciate how the trainers focus on form and can effectively adapt exercises if needed. Each workout feels like a good time investment and worth the effort. I am stronger, and more flexible than just a few months ago. It feels great to easily carry my suitcase up and down the stairs, lift it up overhead to stow it away, run and actually catch my bus, rearrange my furniture, swim faster and generally just know that I am able to do day to day stuff with relative ease. I really appreciate Kellen’s flexibility, he has accommodated my busy schedule with travel and occasional health challenge. Kellen also keeps the early morning classes fun and challenging, I look forward to joining my workout group every week.
