Went to Dr. McGrath 6 months ago due to VERY noticeable hair thinning. After our first visit, he prescribed a compounded medication for me. They took photos of my head/hair as a reference point for my follow up visits. After 6 months of taking the medication religiously as prescribed, the improvement in how my hair growth looked and the "quality" of my hair was amazing. They took pictures again and then showed me the "before and after" pictures. I left there feeling so much better, more confident, and happy. I will continue with the medication and return in another 6 months. I fully expect to be closer to having the hair I had before the thinning began. Thank you Dr. McGrath!!! It’s been a year since getting a Hair transplant done by Dr. McGrath and his team. Probably one of the best decisions I have made was to get this procedure done with McGrath Medical. Dr. McGrath and his team were very professional and caring . Made the whole process easy and reassured me with any concerns or questions I had prior to and after the procedure . I personally feel that if you had any thoughts of getting a hair transplant done, Dr.McGrath and his team is the place to go. The results are impressive and for me at about 6 months I could already see how good the results were going to be. Definitely highly recommend Dr.McGrath and his team.

Met with Steve for the first time last year around December. Was going through a tough time with my hair loss and was convinced I needed a hair transplant. When I came into the consultation I assumed they would push for that, make some money. That couldn’t have been further from what happened. Instead Steve suggested trying medication first before jumping into surgery. I was worried based on all the side effects I had heard about. Steve was clear and transparent and showed me the facts and data, no BS. I decided to take a chance and am I glad I did! A year later and my hair is unrecognizable with absolutely no side effects. Went back for a consultation and never once did they push me to get a surgery. If you’re even considering a transplant I highly recommend this be your stop. Dr McGrath is the man ! Him and his team did an awesome job. I have been researching on hair transplant from 2020 to 2022 almost 2 years to find one of the best doctor who is also affordable. I have called around Dallas, Cali and even Turkey. I was hesitant to spend over 40k that the doctors in Dallas and Cali quoted me for. Even though turkey was cheap, I was hesitant to go to a different country because of the "what if" scenario, what If I encounter issues, follow-up and such. The surgery went smooth except a little scar on my left side which Dr. McGrath has offered to due a FUE on the scar for FREE!! There was some shedding in the beginning but I knew I had to be patient. The follow-ups was great with Dr.McGrath as he explained the "trust the process" phase. Now after 5months I am happy to say that I feel like a NEW Man. My confidence level has definately sky rocketed ! Thank you Dr. McGrath and his team !!! Great work.

Please read the first review as this is the second half that includes during and post surgery -The Ultimate Haircut The only pain I felt during the surgery was when the numbing agent was applied to my scalp. After that, I didn't experience any pain during or after the surgery (rather shocked). It was a team effort to remove and professionally place the hair grafts properly with the corrected direction for them to grow out naturally. Dr. McGrath did the bulk work of the sensitive process. Because it's exhausting work, Dr. Dodge and him would tag team. I didn't notice a difference between their efforts. At first, we weren't going to transfer any hairs to my crown but Dr. McGrath and his staff could tell I really wanted to close out my bald spot. To my surprise, they went ahead and added hairs to my crown and I later found out after surgery that they went so far as to add 200 hair grafts at no expense (2700 total)!! It was professionally executed and I have zero complaints. The staff of assistants then secured the hairs and ensured its integrity. Everyone exceeded the standards of my expectations and I couldn't be happier, plus it was painless! I am very happy that I bought the recovery kit even though it was $300.00. I was on the fence on getting it but decided I would go with the process and I'm lucky I did. I can't imagine adding Neosporin or a healing gel to my scalp. Please do not cheap out like I almost did. The spray bottles are effective and you can't buy them from the seller (I tried). My scalp healed within 8 days but I stayed on course with the healing outline provided. -Botched? At first my hairline looked amazing and I couldn't believe the transformation but one by one all the hairs fell out and I began panicking. I called Dr. McGraths office and expressed my concerns. I was reassured that this was a part of the process and that it would be ok. After a while, none of the hairs grew back and I began emailing Ms. Bianca who handled the situation with the utmost care and reassured me that it would take some time for them to regrow. She was right! Fast forward to today and I have a little jungle forming. Every morning I rush to the mirror and count the new little guys that start sprouting. It feels like Christmas in the spring. I will update this post with better pictures as soon as the new hairs are to length (30-60 days from now).
