I have been a customer of Meierotto Jewelers for well over 15 years and have purchased several pieces there over the years. My purchases were not extremely high-dollar, but they certainly were not cheap either, and I have always returned for repairs and additional purchases. Today I brought in several items for repair, some gold to sell, and was also interested in purchasing a new piece. The repair quote initially seemed high, but the salesperson said he would “see what he could do” and came back with a lower price, which made the pricing feel somewhat arbitrary. When I asked how much the gold I was selling weighed, I was told they don’t share the weight and are just given a number they are willing to pay, and that amount was already factored into the repair quote. That lack of transparency did not sit well with me. In the end, I left without having the repairs done and without selling the gold. For the first time in over 15 years, I walked away feeling uncomfortable and hustled. I will be checking other jewelers for pricing and service in the future.

My initial experience going to Meierotto was a good one. Our sales associate, Emily (I think this was her name) was very helpful and attentive. My biggest issue was poor communication. My boyfriend and I bought our rings back in August 2025 and for my ring, he was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get the ring, no problem. But 6-8 weeks came and went, and we never heard anything. He finally called them in February and was told it would be ready in two weeks. He got the call two weeks later when it was ready. During this call they only told him that the ring was ready to pick up. He was under the impression when he went to the store that he would still be able to make payments each month and possibly pay it off early. It wasn’t until he asked about what the remaining balance was and if he could make bigger payments that he was told that he would have to either pay the balance in full or they would have to do a credit check to come up with a payment plan. Paying off the ring in full wasn’t necessarily an issue, but it would've been nice for him to be aware of this prior to going to pick up the ring instead of being a little shocked when they asked for the remaining $5k. On top of this, we never received any kind of receipt or paperwork prior to picking up our rings. We basically just paid for our rings in August and that was it. No kind of communication on when each month they would take $200 out of my boyfriend’s account. I paid for his ring outright and still never received any kind of receipt/paperwork until I picked it up later on. And then the cherry on top of the sundae was that the wedding band we liked and chose to go with my ring, never got added to our order. Which is unfortunate because now I can't remember which band I picked out initially. We'd like to eventually come back down the road and pick out a band, but we feel somewhat hesitant to come back other than to have my ring cleaned in the future.

I had a great experience buying from David and Hannah. I was able to purchase 2 watches from them and a 3rd for a friend of mine. They made the process smooth. The watches are great. I’ve already started to refer friends there way. They had 3 watches in stock that I could not find at other watch companies around. Then I showed up and saw a massive selection of new and pre-owned watches. Thank you both!
