Any time we miss European escape rooms, we remind ourselves of Tennessee. The escape rooms in this state are top notch and Memphis Escape Games easily belongs with the greats. We also love what they are doing to create other gaming experiences. If you are going to do multiple rooms, call them. They are big on rewarding repeat players with discounts. We are enamored with any room that fully immerses you and gives you that sense of whimsy that can only be experienced live. The sets were beautiful and there were extra touches that weren’t necessary but added to the fun and immersion. Highly recommend! What a joy. 🤩 The staff was also fantastic. Owner reached out to us when he saw we had booked five rooms. Everything here is original and built with love, and it shows in the excellent work.

i have been to memphis escape rooms multiple times throughout the past 8 years. i’ve gone twice in the last month and both of these experiences have made me rate this 1 star. i work at an escape room as well, and both times that i’ve gone i’ve mentioned this and figured it could be nice to talk to other escape room workers. the staff both times have made rude comments putting our location down claiming we are “competition” and they were “the better escape room in the memphis area.” we called out how rude these comments were the second time we went and it’s just unfathomable that they are all trained to have this mindset that they’re better than everyone. along with this, they shared they run up to 5 rooms at a time with one person working there! this is crazy and completely negligent to the people spending almost $100 a person to play. i’ve played multiple times where i’ve felt like i wasn’t being watched in my room or were being ignored. for the quality of the rooms, the quality of the staff do not match and we did not feel welcomed there at all. i hope this review changes something with how their staff treats other escape room workers.

My group had a great time here playing Jurassic Project and Shipwreck Cove. Both games had spectacular set designs and ambiance. Jurassic was especially exciting because of some of the effects they were able to pull off. You can tell the people building these games put a lot of work into it and it does not go unnoticed! Maggie was our game guide for both experiences and she was great!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) We had a really fun time and enjoyed the overall experience! The puzzles were creative and kept us engaged all the way through. The only drawback was right at the end — the ink stamp clue didn’t work properly, so we couldn’t complete the room. That was a little disappointing since it was such a key part of the finale. Still, the staff and atmosphere made it a memorable night, and the next time we’re in Memphis we’ll definitely be back to escape again!

Really awesome escaperooms. Some of the best in the US!!! A def must play here. Our favorite were Jurassic and Shipwreck cove .
