Dr Chris Holland is the most thorough, kind, compassionate and caring vet I have ever seen. He is an expert in his field and really took the time to help me understand why our dachshund's situation was the way it was. Even though he couldn't offer a favourable outcome for our dog, I appreciated the way he took his time to examine Wilbur and carefully explain the implications of what had happened and what this meant for Wilbur's future. I am extremely grateful to Dr Holland for his time, expertise and advice.

Someone turned my rabbit into Mereweather Vets. Although she’s microchipped and desexed they couldn’t find those details, scars or tattoo so began desexing her again… They only had her for a matter of hours. During the double desexing procedure they found a case of sudden broken leg … then euthanised her. I was told over the phone, I became hysterical, the receptionist laughed. I attended the premises and lost it, I threw some brochures, a candle and a photo frame on the floor. I was yelling at the staff member who had laughed at me over the phone. I am in the wrong and will abide by the consequences required. I am not regretful. The owner Felicity was explaining they had “done me a favour by trying to desex the rabbit.. at no cost !!” she also laughed and smiled when I advised she had already been desexed, I showed paperwork with proof. I couldn’t believe she was laughing… I called that afternoon to leave my name and phone number to accept any police follow up due to throwing things on the floor. Felicity Cole let me know if I felt the need to go forward with an official complaint to the veterinary practitioners board about the circumstances that led to Mrs Nesbits death, she would then be forced to go forward with the police complaint due to me throwing things on the floor. That’s absolutely ok and I understand doing so. Although this tactic seems to highlight a fear of external review.

Chelsea and the team always look after our girl so well when she’s in. After a little accident over the weekend, Olivia needed surgery to remove a toe. She was cared for every step of the way and came out so happy which is such a relief as a parent! The nursing team are so passionate about what they do and genuinely show love and care for every animal. They do a magnificent job, and we’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for Miss Olivia. Thank you from all of us 💕🐾

Such a lovely organisation. Our cat needed an emergency appointment, but our local vet clinic couldn't fit her in. Merewether Vet understood our needs & catered for us. As it turned out, our girl passed away in the car ride there, but we didnt realise until the nurse confirmed. The team were so kind & courteous, they gave us guidance as to what to do next & didnt charge us for the visit. I highly recommend this clinic for their kindness. Thank you 🩷🩷🩷🩷
