Jenny rocks! She works with beginners (like me) who hadn't touched clay since elementary school to accomplished potters (often together in the same class). The classes are geared to teach you technique, but are not "canned" you make what you want to make. This not "Monday we make mugs, Wensday we make bowls" She encourages your creativity and guides you through throwing on the wheel, trimming, preparing pieces for each of the firings, and glazing. She is able to work with each of us where we are at and her openess and comfort with all things pottery (she's been doing this for 35 years) creates a sense of community in the studio that really supports learning and creativity.
