Had a $100 gift certificate so my wife and I thought we give it a try. Sat at the bar and the bartender/server was extremely helpful in explaining the dishes and suggesting a couple entrees based on our explanation of pastas we liked. While the prices seemed a little steep, once the food got to us we could see why. Blue Point oysters for an appetizer were phenomenal. A white cocktail sauce vs the traditional red was unbelievable. We split a pasta entree. The homemade pasta taste was easily evident as to it’s freshness. Drink prices were typical of fine dining restaurants. I would go there again without a doubt. Because it’s in the Fayette Mall, it’s a little hectic finding parking close, but was well worth the adventure! Recommend it highly and easily comparable to one of our favorite places, Guisseppi’s!

Went to Mileta recently and it ended up being one of those meals where every course just kept getting better. The atmosphere immediately stands out. The music, lighting, and overall feel of the space really elevate the experience without feeling forced. We started with the crispy potatoes which was a perfect way to open the meal. Super crisp on the outside, soft inside, and just the right balance of salty and rich. For the main, I went with the dry-aged steak served with a beef bacon potato hash. The steak was deeply savory with a light smokiness, and the potatoes added a nice texture that tied the whole plate together. Easily the better steak I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the Radiatori pasta finished with truffle and Parmigiano Reggiano, and honestly it might have been the sleeper hit of the night. Deep, rich flavors with that unmistakable truffle aroma, and it paired perfectly alongside the steak if you’re sharing. We finished with the parmesan ice cream sundae, which sounds unusual but absolutely works. Sweet, savory, and slightly herbal with balsamic caramel and thyme sprinkles. It’s one of those desserts that surprises you in the best way. Service did feel a bit lacking in certain areas such as attentiveness and being personable, which is something you look for when spending a certain amount of money at a place. With that being said, overall, Mileta feels thoughtful in every detail, from the food to the atmosphere and is definitely worth the visit! I’m originally from Miami, Florida, a city many consider to have one of the best food scenes in the country, and I can honestly say Mileta would fit right in among some of the best restaurants there.

We have been here on several occasions! It’s always a treat and a mystery! It’s a fun experience. It is loud if you’re there during a busy time as the bar is smack in the middle. But ask to be seated away from the bar and it’s better. Chef makes the most amazing dishes. So unique and delicious! We one of each of the four desserts for fun!

This was our second time back on a date night after an amazing first experience. We couldn’t stop talking about it so we got back first chance we had. Christian was our waiter and I really can’t say enough wonderful things about him. Knowledgeable, the right amount of attentive, funny and so so kind. The food was as amazing as it was the first time and the cocktails were fabulous as well!

We chose Mileta for my wife's birthday and it exceeded our (very) high expectations. The service was impeccable and the food was simply delectable. I know it sounds basic, but you could tell the food was so fresh and it was piping hot, pasta right out of the sauté pan. It did not sit in a window under a heat lamp. The food and drinks were fun and different (Burning Couches in Tokyo drink, sourdough pancake). Just a terrific experience. Best meal we've had in Lexington in 20+ years.
