You may be great at Furniture restoration. But the guy Driving the Van in the picture was more concerned about taking sips from his big gulp than almost ramming me into the guard rail. If I didn't lay on my horn that's exactly what would have happened. Jan 8th around 3pm on 440 near Durham.

After a long distance move and having about 5 pieces of my beautiful new furniture damaged, I contacted Mumford Restoration who was recommended by a high end furniture store in Raleigh. Spencer came out, took photos, made no promises and got back to me with a quote. He said it won't be perfect but it will look a lot better. Zach Mumford came out to do the work. All I can say is AMAZING. Truly. AMAZING. It looked brand new! He was so professional and I didn't even know he was in the house. I said Spencer said it might not look as good as this. He said, Spencer under promises so I can over deliver. Great business model! All I can say is I will definitely use their services in the future if need be. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Mumford did an excellent job in recovering a chair. One fabric had a pattern, and Mumford centered it beautifully. The solid fabric cording was precisely placed. They used remaining fabric to make 2 pillows, again choosing a particular scene to appear on both sides of each pillow. Quality workmanship!

For years I wanted to restore the upholstery on our formal living room furniture that was very special to my mom. I also wanted to restore this back to as close to the original look as possible. Mumford restoration was such a great help in providing fabric selections that met my desired look and has brought these pieces back to life. I was brought to tears when they delivered the finished products. They are the only restorative furniture company I will ever use - highly recommend their work for your treasured pieces. Recently had four other rather out dated and damaged chairs completely restored. Two were restored for daughter who wanted a mid century modern look and my two were more classic traditional Moravian/English style. WOW is all I can say. Mumford Restoration did a beautiful job on a Victorian Settee and antique dresser that had belonged to my mother. The results are perfect! I had debated sending the settee to the dump, but it now looks fantastic and I am very happy that I kept this family heirloom. The staff at Mumford from estimate visit , pick up and delivery could not have been nicer. It was a great experience overall. They are not inexpensive, but it was worth it for valued, sentimental pieces for me. Thank you for your professional services!
