How have they been in business over 80 years with great reviews yet I have never heard of this company??!! I dont know, but it was my lucky day to find them. They solved a years old recurring problem their first visit. Awesome team of people!
Took me 30 years to find a plumber who would become a permanent member of my home maintenance team. They are smart, honest and caring! They can tackle small jobs and excel at the largest ones. I recommend them with enthusiasm.
I had a clogged drain between my kitchen sink and the laundry room. Probably happened because I just bought some linen sheets and I've never seen the amount of lint in a dryer someone and sheets, so there must be just as much in the washing machine drain! Anyway, yeah it was expensive, $342 to run a snake, but maybe I'm just old enough to really be surprised by the price of things these days. Regardless, I've used them for years and always they've had the nicest receptionist to talk to about your problem, they follow up, and the guys they send are always really some of the nicest guys I've ever worked with. And that's always, for the last 30 years they've always got a good crop of guys that are thorough and nice and normal.
We had a great two great experiences recently with National Economy Plumbers. They cleared a line and replaced a toilet for us a few weeks ago (can't remember the employee's name) and did a an excellent job. Last week, D.J. cleared a clogged AC condenser drain and created new access to it to avoid a repeat clog. They always respond quickly (usually same day) to our calls and are friendly, professional and thorough. Highly recommend!
Friday afternoon at 3:30 PM I had an epic fail in my attempt to tighten a fitting under my kitchen sink. The whole thing came apart and water was every where. I knew I needed a miracle! I wanted a local company, so I called National Economy Plumbers. Instead of an automated voice mail, the call was answered by a human being and a kind gentleman, "Glen." I began to tell him my dilemma. He kindly said, "Hold on..." but did not put me on hold. Rather, he was already troubleshooting. He then said, "It looks like we have a truck in your area. Let me get them there asap!" He explained the pricing, which was on par with what I expected. I knew I needed a professional solution since the sink plumbing had been wrong from the original install five years ago, so I said, yes, please send your crew! As Grace would have it, the truck was in my driveway in 3 minutes. I could hardly believe it. Ted and Taylor - two professional, courteous, and affable young men - got to work immediately and diagnosed the root of the ongoing problem I had been dealing with for 5 years. The original install had never "fit" properly: there was too much stress on the PVC configuration because the original installer had not bothered to get a proper fit.Ted was able to use the existing PVC but trimmed an "elbow piece" for a better, more secure fit, getting rid of the old jimmying and twisting! With the new washers Tyler had brought from the truck, the whole thing was properly fitted, made secure, (and they even helped clean the water up down below) in less than 30 minutes! I was so moved because I could tell the team was working carefully but swiftly in order to take care of me and get the job done as soon as possible to save me money. I am a single, retired school teacher on a fixed income: and I don't know much about plumbing. If they had wanted to, not only could they have stretched the job out, but they could have gone into "over time" - more expensive Weekend Prices! - once the clock hit 4:30 PM. But they hustled, quickly fetched the parts and tools needed from the truck, and GOT 'ER DONE! I was so grateful. And on top of everything else, I felt comfortable talking with them; they asked about my teaching career and so on. It felt like my long lost nephews had come to visit. It warmed my heart because I live far away from my family and have no one to rely on for tasks like this, which my real nephews, brothers-in-law, and so on could have helped me with if they lived here. BUT God is Good: and instead of a 3:30 Pm "disaster," I was so grateful! The whole incident reminded me that the only hands God has on this planet are the hands of honest, well-meaning folks like the team at National Economy Plumbers: Thank you Glen, Ted, and Tyler!
