This place is my local restaurant on the High Street. The food is exceptional like in a restaurant you would find on holiday in Barcelona or such European cities. The croquettes were so flavoursome and crunchy. The crudites were crunchy and complemented the dips so well. Shouts to matty the chef! Top boss! The 2 ladies who served us are so knowledgeable about the food and wine. They are so passionate about the wines and cocktails. They are also so fun and friendly! The price point is so so affordable given the quality. Will keep coming here on the regular for sure.
We came for the wine (which was also delicious) but hadnt realized this is also an amazingly good tapas restaurant! The food was absolutely lovely, some of the best tapas we've had in Bristol for sure. Will definitely be back!
First time here and the food is excellent! I only managed to take photos of a couple of them but everything is delicious and the portions are great. Tasty wine and everyone was really friendly.
We come here sometimes for a mid-week wine to get out of the house in the evenings. But we happened to go last night which, it turns out, they're still doing their Wednesday small plates and a glass of wine deal. 3 plates and a glass of house wine for £20 which is great value. Usually places with this sort of deal the house wine is meh to average at best, but since it's Native Vine, the wines were great and went well with the food. I would use the term small plates loosely as the plate sizes last night were very generous. We were very full by the end. There were some delicious flavours and I always appreciate when the bread is served freshly toasted. My favourites were the sun-dried tomato and olive tapenade and the battered venison sausage - I can't remember what's in the sauce but it went very well with the battered sausage. All in all, great time had! The place is great on a normal evening but even better value on a Wednesday night!
Been here a few times now, and every time it's been really good! Really nice space and an interesting, seasonal menu. The waiting staff are really knowledgable about the menu and when we there last, the chef wrote on the menu all the stuff he could make vegan for us which was super helpful. The one teeny criticism I have is that the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu is £30, it'd be nice to have an option of a carafe or a slightly cheaper bottle if possible. Other than really nice place and great food!

Exceptional wines paired with authentic European small plates in a vibrant Bristol setting.
