I will be forever indebted to Nelson Tree Specialist. On a Saturday morning in January, my baby parrot's harness broke and she ended up being spooked and flew off. She got stuck at the top of a 65-foot-tall tree in my backyard. It was a cold day and she did not know how to get down. She still gets fed formula, as she does not yet know how to eat solids. She sat there without moving for 6 hours. Believe me when I say that if I did not find a way to get her down, she would eventually die from the cold. I called animal control, the fire department, and countless tree servicing companies in the area to see if anybody had a spider lift that I could use to get up to her. Nelson Tree Specialist was the ONLY place that told me they could help me. A team of 3 guys promptly drove out to my house with a spider lift. They were very understanding and tactful with navigating the situation, going slow with the lift as to not spook my bird. They were careful in not damaging property and forewarned us about the inevitability of damage to the grass before proceeding with moving the lift. I cannot understate the desperation they saved us from. Their help is something we will never forget. You can be sure that we will be calling Nelson Tree Specialist the next time we find ourselves in need of their tree services.

Absolutely great from start to finish. Nelson Jr. provided a very competitive quote, and the work started almost immediately. The crew was awesome. The team was very careful about everything - the house, lawn furniture, fence, everything. They took care of the tree, and there wasn’t one stick or piece of sawdust when they were done. Really impressive. I highly recommend Nelson’s, and will not worry about getting quotes from other companies for my next project - just going straight to Nelson’s.

Crew was friendly and well informed on the details of the job. The Forman inspected the site and provided a verbal plan on expected fall locations on each tree and identified which trees might be damaged in the process. Also had suggestions on other tree work that made sense at a nominal cost.

Amazing company and crew. Had an emergency tree removal and they came out within the hour. I can’t tell you how professional this company is. We’ve used them before and that’s why we used them today and will use them for all of our tree service needs. If I could give them more stars, I absolutely would in a heartbeat. 5+ ⭐️s!!!!
