Coordinating a long-distance move from Chicago to Pittsburgh is inherently stressful, but Joe and his crew transformed what could have been a logistical ordeal into a remarkably smooth and well-orchestrated process.
Punctuality was impeccable. The team arrived exactly when promised, fully prepared, and immediately inspired confidence through their professionalism and clear communication. Joe, as team lead, set the tone from the outset. He kept us informed at every step, anticipated questions before we had them, and demonstrated a calm, steady command that made it clear our move was in exceptionally capable hands.
What truly distinguished this crew, however, was the extraordinary care they took with our belongings. Every item was handled with deliberation and respect, packed and secured as if it were their own. Fragile pieces were treated with meticulous attention, larger items were maneuvered with precision, and not a single detail felt rushed or careless. It was evident that this team takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.
Long-distance moves test both logistics and endurance, yet Joe and the New City Moving crew executed the entire process with efficiency, thoughtfulness, and a level of customer care that far exceeded expectations. I have moved over 20 times in my life, and never have I had movers as friendly, proffessional, and efficient as these guys. Miguel and his crew arrived on time, fully prepared, and quickly and efficiently packed up my items. Plus they were very pleasant to work with. The next day Manuel and his crew moved everything out quickly and carefully, loaded the truck and delivered everything without a scratch! They, too, were friendly, pleasant and extremely accomodating.
I would not hesitate to use New City again, and in fact I will in a few months, to have them move the contents of my storage space to my sister's home.
New City made an extremely difficult move effortless. My stress level went from 60 to 0 thanks to them!
