This restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and effortlessly charming, paired with food that is genuinely outstanding. I originally found this spot while looking for a place to watch a 49ers game, and it completely exceeded expectations. Not only could I enjoy the game, but I also had a fantastic glass of wine and an unforgettable meal in such a beautiful setting. The host and wait staff are exceptional — welcoming, attentive, and clearly proud of the experience they provide. It’s the kind of place you’re excited to return to and recommend to everyone.

We live just a few blocks away in North Beach, and finally gave this place a shot - we’re so glad we did! The food and ambience were wonderful, and Jose was very attentive and kind. Definitely check this spot out! 🔥

We had an amazing experience here. We ordered the grilled branzino, which I highly recommend, it was incredibly flavorful, served hot, with grilled lemons and crispy skin. We also had the Mesopotamia kebab, which came with hummus and tzatziki sauce, and it was delicious as well. I recommend getting the kebab/skewer over the gyro meat since it was cooked perfectly! The service was outstanding, and we were lucky to have Jose. He was attentive, kind, and truly tied the whole experience together. The restaurant also has a great ambiance. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!

North Beach Gyro is a clean and cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere. Tje dining area was well kept and clean. The staff were friendly and polite, and a special shout-out goes to our waiter, Jose, who was super friendly, kind, and genuinely attentive. His positive attitude made our experience more enjoyable and truly unforgettable. We ordered several items and were very satisfied with the food quality. The feta fries were crispy and delicious, with great texture and flavor. The salmon wrap really stood out, juicy, well wrapped, and generously portioned, with no unnecessary spices overpowering the natural taste of the fish. The cilantro sauce served on the side added a fresh and flavorful touch that elevated the dish even more. The falafel wrap was also good, solid and satisfying. Overall, North Beach Gyro is a nice casual spot for a flavorful and filling meal, especially if you enjoy wraps done right. A bit more attention to restroom cleanliness would make the experience even better.

Absolutely phenomenal! This was easily the best Mediterranean meal I’ve had in San Francisco and I’ve eaten at a lot of places. The flavors were fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced. I ordered the duck, and it was so good I didn’t leave a single crumb on the plate. The owner was hilarious and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell he really cares about his food and his guests. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the service was fast without feeling rushed. If you’re anywhere near the area, this place is a must-try. It’s the kind of spot you leave already planning your next visit.
