I've been sitting Monday nights with this sangha for almost two years now. I've only attended the Monday meditation and dharma talks via Zoom in that time but have found Monday nights very beneficial to my individual daily practice of meditation. I've come to know several of the other practitioners, and all are wonderful open individuals. Lisa Ernst is a the main teacher giving dharma talks. She is a gem - very insightful drawing from her own experiences as well as the sutras and other sources. I've attended several of her retreats over the last couple years, helping maintain my balance and increase the readiness of my compassion (to myself and others). I highly recommend this sangha. UPDATE: Still sitting with this sangha online on Monday evenings (5pm PT). It is a welcome start to my week days with the short meditation, Lisa's dharma talk and subsequent conversation with others attending online - a very supportive community.

OneDharma has changed my life in a million, small, but significant ways. I've been attending the Monday night and Thursday night recovery meetings for only 5 months, but my experience was immediately met with welcoming and accessibility that no other setting ever could. Meditation is something that I always knew I needed to grow, but the awkwardness and discipline of solitary practice made it seem out of reach; If you are at the very least curious about the practice, and the consistency of set weekly times and accountability of others is what you need, I strongly recommend checking One Dharma out.
I’ve been attending One Dharma for a little over a year semi-regularly. I find it to be a peaceful, nurturing, and restorative setting, which is matched by the content provided by Lisa Ernst (and others when she is away teaching.) I am new to longer meditations, dharma talks and Buddhism. One Dharma has been a wonderful way to begin to integrate myself into that practice, and to find community. I have attended a weekend retreat and a half-day retreat with Lisa and both of them were very, very positive and helpful. Lisa is a gentle and kind soul and is extremely approachable as a teacher. I would recommend One Dharma without hesitation to anyone who is looking for a peaceful place to deepen their practice or is simply looking for group meditation. The other great thing about it is the Zoom option for participating if you aren’t able to make it in person.
