A remarkable experience! From the moment you walk in, the studio’s vintage charm hits you—clearly they’ve been in business for quite some time, an impressive testament to the staff’s many years of teaching experience. The instructions were provided at supersonic speed, making it wonderfully easy for newcomers to follow along without seeing a single demonstration. The yoga mats they provide are amazingly thin, so thin that you can rediscover every bone in your body the moment you lie down. I learned a lot about myself today!
Best hot yoga in town. I have been going there for Bikram off and on for years. Temperature is perfect for practice and nice bathrooms to boot. The instructors are all very friendly and very professional. The mind/body/soul experience we all need.
Update march 2025 Omg!!! Joe! Amazing instructor and pleasant human being! Thank you so much for sharing your experience knowledge and passion with us ! He made 90 minutes seem like 15! He is so attentive! I learned a lot and felt very encouraged ! Looking forward to more classes with him!!! _______ I was very afraid of going to this class due to the reviews but I had an amazing experience! Lady who checked me in was lovely. This is not hot yoga its MOIST YOGA! I was dripping!!! The class is intense and extensive (90 minutes).I do not recommend if you are a beginner. Lynn is a great instructor: she is tough, knowledgeable and 200% of technique. She knows everyone s names including mine ( and it was my first class) such a differential! If you are looking to learn yoga this is a great place! If you are looking more for relaxation and tranquility id say this is not the best option.
Full transparency… I am also a Bikram yoga teacher in Florida. The area that I live in does not have the original “Bikram 26 and 2” classes. I was in Orlando for a realtors convention and was overjoyed to see that there was a studio that has the original series. Joe taught an impeccable class with great dialogue. His energy and demeanor was fantastic and he was giving support to those who were new in the class. Some people who are not familiar with the style of yoga, will question the dialogue or the teacher’s lack of participating in the class i.e. doing the yoga poses themselves. To those who are new to the style of yoga, please know that the teachers are there to observe you to keep you safe and the dialogue is there to keep you on focused on your yoga. The studio was clean and had showers and was well appointed. When I’m back in Orlando, I definitely will come back to the studio.
I’ve done hot yoga before, but participating in the 90 minute hot yoga class offered here was a whole different experience, and let me tell you it is not for the faint of heart or even mid level bravery- this is hard core. It was a really welcoming environment from right when I walked in. Lynn, our class instructor, showed me to the cubbies and explained everything after I got checked in. She was so kind to give me a heads up about the class format which was super nice to know. In the 90 minute class there’s no music and it’s all spoken instruction and timing through 26 movements (I think that was the number). It was a much different setup then any other yoga class I’ve been in so it was really nice to know that beforehand. The way Lynn instructed was very matter of fact- she knew the names of all the participants well, even myself as a first timer. Some may have taken it a wrong way when she calls your name to correct your form, but once you get used to it it was actually really nice. She paid close attention to everyone in the room even though it was full, to make sure everyone was getting the most out of it. I really appreciated the corrections as I still don’t know a lot of the verbiage with yoga flow so I got lost at different points but Lynn always patiently pointed me to the correct direction. My class members were so supportive and even though 90 minutes in a hot room was so hard, it felt amazing after. They do have showers there as well so you can clean off right away after class. They offer the normal 60 minute hot yoga, hot pilates classes, and a few other things. It seems like a great community here that I’ll definitely try to come back to even though I don’t live in the Orlando area!
