My wife and I are regulars here for more than 10 years. Food is always excellent! Best sushi in town! But more importantly the owners and staff are always so nice and welcoming. If you haven’t found them yet, please come to Osaka at Boston Road/ Dylan Place. It’s an excellent night out!

Great food and friendly service. Sushi presented well and tasted fresh. Would definitely return next time we’re in the mood for sushi.

Outstanding experience and food. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but I did know that Lexington has a solid Japanese food scene probably influenced by the large presence of Toyota employees. In short… I would definitely come back any time I’m back in Lexington. Sushi was very fresh, well done, and the service made you feel welcome and appreciated. Hands down a great spot.

We (my husband, my son and I) passed Lexington multiple times, but it is the first time that I searched for a Japanese restaurant! I regret that I did not find it earlier, and it is a hidden Gem! Go to the original restaurant (where we were) as we first went to the Holiday Inn place. It looks more like a, you know, hotel restaurant, so we drove another 24 minutes to the original one. Everything is so goooooooooooood! We ordered hamachi kama (grilled very well), dinosaur egg (the blend of crunchy stuff, avocado, crab meat, and other stuff is amazing), the sashimi deluxe dinner (fresh fresh fresh), two rolls (beast and salmon rolls (I ordered by photos as there are five to six pages of rolls and it is impossible for me to decide and I think the one with pepper on top is Salmon ones). My son ordered a teriyaki steak and a sushi bentobox. Additionally my husband ordered a beer. The average price for rolls is around 12-13 dollars (very reasonable compared to Charleston, Chicago, DC, and lots of places we have been to). The price for the dinosaur egg is the same as average sushi rolls. Sashimi is so fresh that you don't have to worry about it at all. The two rolls are really good. It was hilarious that I tried the first one, I said, oh so good, then I tried another, and I said, Oh my, so good. The raw sashimi is rather proportional to the rice and the source is so delicate and rich in texture. We spent a total of 117 dollars (we ordered a little bit more for three since we have a teen). The service is very very very good and I feel we were taken good care of. We were so satisfyingly full that we decided to go for a walk before continuing driving (cross the street there is a good will, the only place we can consume some time after 8:30). I teased with my husband that I would like to find a job in Lexington for this restaurant as I am a food lover and if you check my other reviews, you will find that there is a good Sushi house in my town, but this, beats it. It is hard nowadays for you to find a restaurant like this: quality food, wide variety of choices, cozy environment, and most importantly, affordable prices. One tip: call before going to make sure that you don't have to wait. It is Monday today and we arrived at around 7:15. I called earlier and was told that it is not busy. But around 8, the restaurant was full. So, calling in advance is strongly recommended!

This is the best sushi place I have ever had, and my friend and I will only go to this restaurant for sushi! We come here often, and everything is always so fresh and delicious! The owner of Osaka is also very passionate about the food and cares a lot for his customers. The selection here has a broad variety, and is affordable, and of high quality. For raw sushi choices, I highly recommend the oishi roll, truffle roll, and dragon fly roll! The sushi sandwich is also very good as well for people who enjoy smoked eel! The kalbi beef short ribs is my personal favorite, and I always get it along several dishes of sushi. By far, Osaka is my favorite restaurant ever!
