Lovely little garden centre, plenty of free parking all level, no steps so great for wheelchairs & pushchairs. Great cafe with plenty of choice at good prices. Helpful & friendly staff.

Otter Garden Centre is always a pleasure to visit. The plants are healthy and well‑priced, the layout is easy to navigate, and the staff genuinely know their stuff. The gift and homeware sections are surprisingly strong, and the café is a great bonus for a relaxed break. Consistently friendly, reliable, and beautifully kept — one of the best garden centres around.

just wanted to share how impressed I am with Otter Garden Centre in Whitchurch. Every visit is a pleasure, but this Christmas season has been especially magical. The decorations are absolutely stunning — beautifully arranged, full of sparkle, and instantly put you in the festive spirit. The team has clearly put so much effort into creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it really shows. The displays are not only gorgeous but also thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to browse and enjoy the festive setup. Overall, a wonderful experience that truly captures the Christmas mood. Well done to everyone involved!

Not a great garden centre, there were a few good christmas displays but apart from that, not a lot and not great. There wasnt much general items and the christmas items are priced really high. A bauble in here was £4.99 that I paid 99p for the exact same thing at another store. We thought the size of the garden centre was quite small, dissapointing toy section and very overpriced compared to other local garden centres. The garden centre also had a really cold feel to it, instead of what we thought should have been warm and cozy.

This is my go-to garden centre every spring. Depending on what time I get there, I start off with breakfast or lunch in the expansive cafe. There is an outside area when the weather is conducive. Afterwards, with a basket in hand, a leisurely stroll through the complex. Amongst the many other items, there is a really good greeting card section. I usually stock up here for future occasions. Surprisingly, for a centre of this size and calibre, there is no aquatics department. They certainly have the space. Some of the staff have an encyclopedic knowledge of plants. Go to the tall guy in the Stetson Good quality hardy Fuscias purchased A further visit for breakfast with my ex boss and a good deal purchase of Cyclamen, I am again well pleased with my visit.
