Blake came recommended to me from my long time personal trainer, Luka Hocevar at Vigor Ground in Washington. We met, made a plan for training sessions for an extended stay in Honolulu and I am so glad we did. The gym is fantastic, the workout and lifting were the right kind of difficult, and Blake knows his stuff. I look forward to continuing with him every time I’m on the island!

This is the first (of likely not very many) reviews I have written on Google. That's not to say that I don't have opinions, but more that I just don't usually care enough to share them. With that in mind, I would highly recommend working out at Parado Power. I came into Parado Power from another gym about three years ago and right away it was clear that the trainers at Parado Power were professional, knowledgable ,and committed to clients understanding "how and why" versus just blindly following. I've been a casual athlete for the past twenty years and it's taken a toll on my body. With every injury I came with or gotten from outside the gym: they have worked with me to rehab, strengthen, and be even better than I was before. On top of that, Blake does an excellent job checking in with me regarding my physical therapy and any adjustments that need to be made. When you come to Parado Power, you are getting a full service gym that shows you that you are known and seen by each trainer.

NO MORE CHRONIC BACKPAIN!! Blake, Jensen, and Micah helped me get rid of my chronic excruciating piriformis caused by my sciatica. I lost about 42lbs. Most importantly, I have NO lower chronic back pain anymore which is a MIRACLE! For 18 long years, I suffered with chronic pain diagnosed as a degenerative herniated/bulging lumbar L4/L5, S1/L5. My lower back problem disrupted every aspect of my life. Leaving me basically with no real quality of life. However, after starting with Parado Power, I’m so amazed with how they were able to transform my body. My lower back was able to recover and heal itself within months —without any medication or surgeries. Now, I’m back to me and feeling pain free which I never thought in a million years I’d ever get there. You can’t go to your closet and change out your body. You’re stuck with the one you’re born with, so you have to make it work. Blake, Jensen, and Micah really care about your health and wellbeing. But, you have to be consistent with working out and the work out results don’t happen overnight. But, you will definitely see results the work out results slowly if you stick with it. For myself, the chronic piriformis pain went completely away within about 3-4 months. It’s now been a little over 2 years since starting with Parado Power, I look and feel better than in my 20s. My blood pressure also went down from 151/102 to 117/84. The word “exercise” was very intimidating in the beginning because I didn’t exercise since my 20s, but Blake, Jensen, and Micah took baby steps customizing the work outs based on what I could and couldn’t do. Don’t feel discouraged or intimidated. Call Parado Power and speak to Blake about your concerns. He’s very knowledgeable and experienced. I’m confident Blake, Jensen, and Micah will impress you like they impressed me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Blake, Jensen, and Micah for giving me my life back. You guys mean the world to me.

I’ve done semi-private training in SF, NYC, and Honolulu, and Parado Power Training is easily the best experience I’ve had. What I love most about Parado is that even though it’s semi-private my workouts are still personalized to my strength and goals. At other semi-private training gyms, I’ve noticed everyone just does the same program. The coaches, Blake, Jensen, and Micah will definitely push you and won’t let you slack, but they are also just fun and kind people I like being around and talking story with. The space is big, airy, and super clean too. Highly recommend if you’re serious about getting stronger 💪

I’ve trained with Blake many years ago when I was an athlete in high school. He got me to be the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been. Fast forward to 10 years later…I started a business, had two kids, and completely put my health and fitness on the back burner. Starting from the bottom was going to be tough, but I knew that going to Parado Power was the only place that could get me where I wanted to be. I’ve trained with Blake, Micah, and Jensen and they are all extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and friendly! They know how to challenge you while keeping you safe. It doesn’t matter your age or level of fitness, they will completely customize a plan for you. As for the gym itself- very clean, great vibes, and TONS of FREE parking. I can’t thank Parado Power enough for not only helping me to reach my goals but also helping me feel like myself again!

It's been about six months since I started semi-personal training sessions, and while my original goal coming into it was to "gain muscle," I gained SO much more than that. Before Parado Power, I was comfortable lifting weights, but underestimated how much I could do. Pound by pound, the coaches would gradually add to my load and quickly I came to realize, "Heck yeah, I can do a lot more than I thought!" Shoutout to Blake and Jensen! To Blake, who, although graduated from Roosevelt (ew, I say as a McKinley grad), has excellent taste in gym music and runs a tight ship. And to Jensen, whose step-by-step guidance helped me grow stronger, and kept me motivated, even through grueling lunges and lifts. To anyone who wants to gain confidence in the gym, and really confidence overall, check 'em out. If I had three thumbs, I'd give them three thumbs up.
