Had a simple problem they acted like they didn't want to help me. Didn't even want to look at it. They just wanted 50$ up front. It took three days just to get any type of response from them, and I had to call them! Never again.
!!!SCAM COMPANY!!! do not take anything here. They pressured me into the $100 1 day diagnosis upcharge and then quoted me 750 dollars for a new MAC logic board, because they said it "blew up and is ruined." Took it to apple because i realized they did free diagnosis, like a real company, and they replaced the $13 dollar IO board (connects the charging port to the logic board) for only 85 dollars.
Was very happy bringing in my PC there. There was good communication about prices and progress of repair and an update along the way about how long things would take. They went above and beyond. Would recommend, for sure.
I was in a huge hurry. I was leaving for vacation in less than 24 hours, and suddenly my laptop wouldn't start. After Best Buy stripped the screws on my computer in their attempt to take the back off to check the battery, I went to PC Doodle on my daughter's recommendation. They tested the power cord, because they had those in stock. Then they asked if I tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds, because sometimes laptops get stuck in sleep mode. That's all that was wrong with the computer, and they found the problem and fixed it quickly. PC Doodle is a bit of a drive for me, but they have my business forever and I'd shout their praises from the rooftops if I thought anyone would listen.
Friendly and knowledgeable computer repair shop that provided a timely diagnosis then repair for my laptop. This issue was covered by a warranty, and the folks at PC Doodle went through several email correspondences to make sure they provided the correct information. Their pricing seemed a bit high, so look elsewhere for bargain repairs.
