What we initially feared was a hardware failure turned out to be a software issue (corrupted boot). Got my laptop cleaned by Alex. The fans and radiator were clogged with dust, which trapped the hot air inside and caused my laptop to overheat. He fixed the issue and also replaced the old, dried-up thermal paste with a new one. Throughout the process, he kept me updated by sending pictures on WhatsApp.
