This location was right around the corner from our hotel. After a long day on the road, this was an easy place to have a filling but also tasty meal. The smoked meat was as you would expect from a Quebec restaurant - they know how to make it. The pasta was good and home-made. Service was quick and responsive. We didn't have to wait long and our meal was on the table in front of us. There are a few TVs around the facility. Tables and chairs are average quality. It's not necessarily the ambiance you are going for. But it was clean.

We visited twice during our short trip to Quebec City and truly enjoyed every experience. The service, food, and ambiance were all excellent. Julient was absolutely lovely—she remembered us from our first visit, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Great service, delicious food I had the Ruben with poutine and slaw My friends ordered the half sub . This was by far one of the best Rubens I had in awhile, the meat just melts in your mouth. If you are in the area,I definitely recommend 10/10 Also kid friendly with kid menu available

If you're expecting the smoky, bold flavors typical of American smoked meat, you'll notice that Quebec-style smoked meat takes a different route. Instead of the characteristic visible smoke ring, aroma, or flavor, it offers a unique experience. Made from brisket, available in rare, medium, or well-done (I went for medium), the meat is incredibly tender - though it lacks that traditional smoky flavour. I found it works especially well in a sandwich rather than as a standalone cut. While ribs aren't on the menu, they do serve up some chicken options too.

If you are looking for a smoked meat sandwich in Quebec City, look no further - Phil’s is the place! Great vegetarian options - pizza and Greek Salad - are also available. And don’t forget that cheese cake! Service was impeccable and ambience is wonderful! Will certainly visit again!
