This is one of the better Vietnamese restaurant. They offer wide variety of Vietnamese food. I like their short ribs the best. And their big bone short ribs pho is also very good. But I liked the soup base in their pho noodle. And they give you a good portion for the price that you're paying. It has high CP value.
Between the three of us, we got the phở sườn bò (pho + short rib with the bone in) and bún chả cá thịt nướng (rice noodles, fried fish, and grilled pork). These two menu items were enough to fill us up, and everything tasted amazing. Given that pur food came out in a timely manner, we look forward to coming back again sometime.
The pho here is good. We ordered the Bun Cha, beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. The Bun Cha was the best in my opinion. I liked it better than their beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. Came here at 10 am and there’s no line and it was pretty empty.
This long-established pho shop has always been popular, with lines forming every day, but they move quickly. There are actually many pho shops like this in South San Jose, but I think the difference is the broth isn't make you feel thirsty, and the beef is good. There aren't any fresh noodles available, but the dry noodles are cooked well, not too soft, and have just the right texture. The price reasonable , you pay at front cashier .
I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and finally had the chance to try it. We ordered the fried fish sizzling plate and the crispy noodles with pork. Overall, the food was decent, but not particularly impressive. The fried fish sizzling plate is similar to a Vietnamese spring roll experience, but with a fried fish flavor. you get to make your own rolls, which is a fun touch. The restaurant itself is quite loud, so I’d recommend sitting outdoors if the weather allows. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-good way😬was the interior…specifically the white walls. If you’re going to use white walls, they should be kept clean. Sitting and staring at the stains definitely took away from the dining experience😞
