Pilates Arcadia with Teri has been an absolute joy! I've been seeing her for the majority of my pregnancy and it has been a dream! It can be very difficult to still feel empowered and strong while pregnant and she has made that beyond possible for me! It's been great how customizable she makes it tailored to each person. She also is really thoughtful on making movements feel effective, but safe and comfortable. That has been so important to me with my first pregnancy and navigating staying active. Five stars plus for Pilates Arcadia! Teri is an absolute gem—there’s truly no one like her. She provides me with the most amazing individualized and creative Pilates workouts. Although I’ve never been a fan of exercise, under Teri‘s expert instruction I genuinely look forward to coming to her immaculate studio and spending time with her weekly. She is the best fitness instructor I’ve ever worked with. She’s prepared for every session with a new workout plan for the day, and is able to modify it on the spot if it is not working for my body. With an old back and shoulder injury, I’ve been particularly cautious, but Teri’s background in Occupational Therapy gives her a deep understanding of body mechanics. She makes thoughtful adjustments so I can exercise safely without risk of injury. Beyond her technical expertise, Teri’s positivity and encouragement make every session a joy. I leave each one feeling stronger, happier, and more confident in my physical abilities. After six months of working with her, I’m leaner, stronger, and absolutely hooked. Pilates with Teri is not just effective—it's fun! I highly recommend taking Pilates with Teri.
Would give ten stars if I could! The studio is impeccable, well-equipped, and much more comfortable than others I've experienced. And, I can’t recommend Teri enough as a Pilates instructor! She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive—every session feels carefully planned and tailored to my needs. Teri is consistent, reliable, resourceful and compassionate, and she has guided me through several injuries (non-pilates) over the past year - helping me heal while actually becoming stronger in the process. Her focus, expertise, and genuine care make every class effective, safe, and motivating. Teri is fantastic! A trained, certified instructor with deep knowledge of Pilates principles, and creates a supportive, positive and motivational environment for instruction. Her feedback encouraging, and she adapts the exercises as I reach new levels. When I started, my bones ached, my discipline non existent and strength sapped. Fast forward one year and continue my health journey with greater confidence, new-found power and deep skills. I will stay with her for years to come, cannot imagine anyone else taking such professional, personal care and individualized care than Teri. PS: Her Pilates studio is immaculate. A treasure!!!
