My experiences with MFR have been outstanding! I never realized the fascia played such a significant role in our healing process! The feeling of complete 'openness' of my bodily energies has been over the top!! I felt like a new person at 77 plus years old! I must relate this story: When I took my anatomy and physiology course for nursing school in 1966, my study included learning the names of body parts of the female and male anatomy at Parkland Memorial Hospital lab in Dallas, Texas. I distinctly remember seeing buckets containing 'unused discarded tissue"! I truly believe this could have been fascia from the donated human bodies which was not declared useful in those days!!! How times have changed! Please continue to support Pilates Center of Austin in the addition of the truly healing MFR!!!!!!!!!!!

The services offered by the Pilates center have been extremely helpufl managing my chronic joint pain. The myofascial release massages are the best method I've ever found to bring down a flare up. Immediately after the MFR session, movement felt way easier and I was able to stand upright again. When I am feeling well, pilates classes are extremely helpful for building strength and mobility. The staff have all been very knowledgable about biomechanics and able to adapt to my mobility constraints.

I had an excellent experience with my myofascial release massage with Jacob! It was my first MFR massage and Jacob took time to understand my problem areas before starting. The session was both relaxing and effective — I could actually feel movement in tight muscle groups as they relaxed and had noticeable improvement in my flexibility and pain relief right away. Highly recommend Jacob to anyone looking for real results and a caring, knowledgeable therapist!

I’ve been a client of PCA for many years and I love their classes and instructors. I just added in some Myofascial Release (MFR) sessions with Jacob and I can feel my body changing with that addition. Between the classes and MFR my posture is so much better and my back pain is gone. Thanks for keeping me strong, PCA!
