Pittsburgh Tutor

I found Pittsburgh Tutor through my neighbor who lives below me and we would always discuss what’s going on with our kid in school and his their growth overall and she told me her daughter was attending lessons at this location that was literally 5 min from my house which I was ecstatic about. I called and Essie was so kind and helpful with giving me a rundown and then f how everything works and how we could get my daughter Brynlee more up to speed for her age. We’re still on our journey of improvement but this far the results I’m seeing and the confidence I now notice in my child has made me so pleased that I signed her up with Pittsburgh Tutoring!!!

As a mom of 2, my daughters had very different experiences when learning to read. My youngest was showing signs that she was not picking up on her reading skills compared to her peers. As a parent, you want to do everything you can to support them. Luckily, the first place I called was Pittsburgh tutor, Essie was kind and informative. When I say she’s an amazing person, I mean it. She was so understanding, eased my anxiety, and was quick to create a plan of action for my daughter. It’s been about a month or so, since we started and I cannot say how grateful I am for Essie and Larissa. They have been so helpful to our family. Each week we’re greeted by kind parents and staff. It’s just such a welcoming community. I promise you that, if you need a tutor for your child, this is the place to go to! I know my daughter will continue to grow and build confidence in reading with such an amazing team behind her.

We have used Essie's group of incredible tutors for all four of our children over the past 10 years. This stemmed from everything including increasing middle school reading skills to AP calculus to even some college help last year. We've been able to do this both in the short term 1-3 sessions, to long-term whole semester or yr long. We really have never had a poor experience. The ease with finding the specific tutor and the quality have been unsurpassed from any other experience. We highly recommend Pittsburgh tutor and will use again if needed.

We have worked with Essie and Pittsburgh Tutor for a number of years now. They are excellent: our daughter enjoys working with all of the staff, and both her grades and confidence have greatly improved. Essie is always available and has been very accommodating with scheduling, extra sessions when needed and making sure we have support. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to provide their child with additional help.

I cannot recommend Pittsburgh Tutor and Kim enough! They have been an incredible asset to both my son and daughter, helping them catch up and excel in reading and comprehension.
