Was in town today, with the wife and daughter and grandson, decided to call in for something to eat, as had previously been around St. George's market. Called into Pizza on the square, the staff were extremely helpful, as we had the pram to negotiate. They offered us seats which were perfect, and access to the toilet and baby changing room. My wife got the meatballs, a starter, and the garlic bread supreme, which was all that she wanted, the daughter got the dough balls, I opted for the Milano pizza, but without the peppers and salami, but asked for jalapeno in place of. It was well presented, and looked delicious, and was not disappointed. I tried everything, and I have to admit, it was on the mark. The pizza was perfect, the base not being too thick or heavy, the topping well proportioned, and it tasted so good. The same with all the dishes, and the staff are a real bonus as really attentive and polite. Three meals and drinks for under £65, in Belfast, and they also provided some hot water so as to make up the baby's bottle. This is a really good place to dine, coupled with a friendly relaxed atmosphere, no pressure, just enjoyment dining.
The pizza was quite large and very tasty. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were able to seat us right away. But since we went a bit later in the evening, that might be why if you’re planning to go during busy dinner hours, you should definitely make a reservation. My only criticism is that it was a bit cold inside; the ventilation was blowing too strongly
It was my 3rd time in Belfast & I didn’t know the square I always crossed has such an amazing aesthetic restaurant . So I was just scrolling & randomly made a reservation and boom, must visit place is here you all.. 😍 We had pizza, pasta & garlic bread all of it was fabulous.
This was a great place to stop!! We had walked around Belfast and wanted to eat before taking the bus back to our ship. We stepped in here, had a great pepperoni pizza and a beer in no time. The pizza is very thin and so very good. Our server was fantastic. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. Stop here if you’re in Belfast and hungry for pizza.
We visited whilst on a day trip from Glasgow. Great location right in the centre of Belfast close to where we starting/ending tours and places we wanted to see such as the GoT Studio tour, Titanic Museum and so on. Staff were great, pizzas were fabulous. WE had a couple of different pizzas and plate were spotless. Couldn't fault the experience overall. Would recommend.
