An amazing gym with a family culture! This gym is unlike the other gyms in the area in that its NEVER overly populated during peak times. Anyone can come in and not face a huge crowd while having to wait for machines or equipment. Its open to anyone at all levels of fitness and one on one personal training, group training and nutrition coaching is available with some of the best fitness professionals in the DFW metroplex. Ive also never seen a cleaner gym that shows pride throughout the facility and the equipment is top of the line and well maintained in house! Family and faith based environment without the intimidation factor of most gyms.

*Year Two Update* I have had absolutely no problems with Powerhouse Gym! I can go in the morning, lunch, or evening after the kid is down and I never have to wait for a machine or equipment. Everyone is respectful and Luke is always there to greet everyone and offer pointers. I really can't see myself going to another gym. It's becoming a staple in the South Side. PS I've even managed a few workouts with my 4 yr old daughter taggin along, she loved it and no one minded. I'm a few months into joining this gym and it is absolutely fantastic. I was at planet fitness for about 1 year and a half and wanted to try something new. I could never go back ! The equipment is always clean and working, people are respectful of your space/friendly, staff is always willing help you and super polite. I can't imagine working out anywhere else now.

Some even cost less. But what made this gym better for me was the quality of guidance and intention that Coach D brings to the space. Coach D communicates in a way that’s clear, calm, and easy to understand 🗣️🤝 He takes the time to explain what you’re doing and why, and he pays close attention to how each person moves, responds, and progresses 🧠🎯 Training doesn’t feel rushed or generic — it feels structured, personal, and purposeful. What really makes the difference is how focused he is on each individual journey 🤍 You’re not being trained off a template. You’re being coached. Progress is built thoughtfully, session by session, with adjustments that actually make sense 📈🔥 That kind of attention is rare, and it shows in the results. Powerhouse Gym already provides a solid environment to train 🏋🏽‍♂️✨ But having someone like Coach D there elevates the entire experience. The energy shifts. The focus sharpens. Cleanest gym I’ve been to and great owner and staff. Luke is the man if you need any advice or recommendations. They are willing to accommodate and work with you on everything. I recommend to everyone
