Prestige fitness is a supportive personal training environment. Everyone is encouraging and knowledgeable. My personal trainer, Rodrigo, has been a great source of motivation and has adjusted my training to match my changing needs . I am very happy with my experience and I highly recommend Prestige Fitness!
I am very thankful for having found this place as part of my jour to become stronger and in better shape after being so many years unable to do exercise without getting injured. Rodrigo was my personal trainer and he was very knowledgeable and with a lot of experience as a trainer, knowing about the body, putting me in the right exercises, and always being there to help me achieve my goals, I am very thankful for that. If you have the budget, I would recommend this place.
First, I would like to begin by saying I am a 64-year-old woman. It was only two years ago that I started my fitness journey, and it all began at Prestige Fitness. Rather late in life I finally decided to deal with my health and weight issues and lost 50 lbs. As a type 2 diabetic this was huge! While I was proud of my weight loss I realized, after 2 consecutive muscle pulls in my back, that weight loss alone wasn't enough to label myself as healthy. So, I decided to join a gym. I found myself at Prestige Fitness and was lucky enough to meet Tara! She was personable and so interested in my weight loss journey and wanted nothing more than to help me reach my fitness goals. She paired me with a personal trainer, and I was on my way! I have been on this fitness journey now for almost two years, focused on weightlifting and endurance training. At 64 years old I am in the best shape of my life! It is never too late to get started and for me, it all started with being brave enough to walk through these doors and surround myself with people who truly care about my fitness goals! Prestige Fitness put me on the path to personal success, wellness and fitness!
I was interested in the Prestige Center because the ad said they focus on seniors, mobility, and motivation — exactly what I need. I drove 45 minutes to get there, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing like what was promised. When I arrived, the first thing I saw was a young trainer doing intense workouts out front, more like a scene from a trendy gym than a senior-focused program. Inside, I was greeted by someone who looked barely 21, and the “assessment” involved an awkward body scan requiring me to undress (alone in the room, but still uncomfortable), which had to be repeated because the machine wasn’t set up correctly. The gym itself was very small — one room with equipment I could see in a glance — and when I reminded them that the distance was a problem for me, they repeatedly dismissed it and tried to push me to come three times a week. I went in hoping for a welcoming, senior-friendly environment. Instead, it felt geared toward young, athletic bodies and not at all like the ad described. This is not the place for anyone looking for realistic, age-appropriate fitness.
I really appreciate how comfortable and inviting this space is. As a first time gym goer, it was a big decision and I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Zachary Wychulis is my personal trainer, and he is phenomenal! Zachary actively listens and created an approach that alliances with my goals. I can feel muscles that I didn’t know existed!
