Working with Prestin Ravid Architects on our home addition and renovation has been amazing. Navigating the City of Palo Alto’s complex permit process could have been stressful, but Eyal and his team made it smooth and enjoyable. With Eyal’s extensive experience, his strategic, efficient approach and clear communication helped us get our permit in about half the expected time. Working with Eyal has been an absolute pleasure! From day one, he has been client-minded, unbelievably responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. He goes above and beyond, keeping us informed, guiding us through every step, and always being mindful of our budget. We immediately felt confident in his expertise and professionalism. Before working with Eyal, we interviewed more than 20 architects and plan-build firms, and even tried working with a plan-build firm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit—their transparency and expertise fell short, and they didn’t have a licensed architect. Returning to Eyal was the best decision we could have made. He personally measured our house, identified discrepancies between public records and the actual square footage, and proactively clarified everything with the City of Palo Alto, saving us time, stress, and potential surprises. He also helped streamline the permit process so we could submit for both Planning and Building Permits simultaneously. We had an absolutely great experience working with Prestin Ravid Architects. We hired Eyal for a full interior remodel and addition to our house, and he consistently exceeded our expectations. We are first-time home buyers embarking on a substantial project with structural changes, and he made the process as simple and straightforward as possible. We tried to work with another well-known architectural firm in the Bay Area but after six months of painfully slow communication and frustration with the lead architect not understanding our preferences or project vision, we decided it was time to look elsewhere. We were referred to Eyal by another homeowner who worked with them and promptly made the switch after hearing the terrific reviews. Choosing to work with Eyal as our architect was easily one of the best decisions we made in our home renovation project. Not only was he extremely responsive and thorough in addressing our questions and capturing details in construction plans, but he also took the time to understand what our vision was and provided invaluable suggestions and recommendations. He was a true partner from the development of the construction plans, to getting our permits approved, to even helping us understand how to approach the numerous decisions needed (appliances, flooring, trim, kitchen cabinets, etc.) - Eyal went above and beyond to help us navigate everything .
