I worked out at the Marsha sharp location for 2 years and unfortunately have seen the upkeep of the gym plummet in the last 6 months. Since the opening of south location (which is beautiful) you can tell there is little to no care of the old location anymore. It has an “iron gym” feel to it but to the point that you don’t want to wear light colored clothes unless you want them to be brown from all the dirt. Some of the equipment might be dangerous given at any point you could find a screw/bolt on the ground not knowing where it came from. In certain areas it can be so hard to breathe from all the dust and dirt that if you have any sort of allergies I wouldn’t even recommend walking in the building. This gym is still a special place to me and that’s why it is so sad to see it in the current state it’s in. It’s so unkept that it genuinely looks abandoned. It doesn’t need the fancy equipment, it just needs workers that know how to vacuum and dust.

Ben helped me out tremendously. He worked with me and helped me get everything squared away. Love the gym and equipment I remember it being some of my best lifts. This gym really cares about its people and will help them in any way possible. Highly recommend this gym to anyone in Lubbock.

Its an okay gym, old equipment which is breaking. I believe it needs a major update. Canceled and started to go to trufit, same price and so much more for your money. Edit, after canceling I have again been charged another fee, unable to get in contact calling the number.

I absolutely love the Pro Fitness south location. The weight lifting equipment is amazing. If I absolutely had to provide a critique, it would be that I wish we had more of a selection of stationary bikes. The ones here are a little on the older side, but that would be the only critique. This is truly an amazing gym and I don’t see myself ever having the need or desire to look for another. The staff is amazing and even the members are great. It is for people serious about their fitness journey. I have yet to experience having to wait on equipment because of a member who does one set and then spends the rest of their time on their phone. People come here, do their thing and keep it moving. I love it here.

I got a membership here because they were claiming to have a newer/bigger one next door by 2024. they’re haven’t even STARTED. the bathrooms are shared and there’s no locker rooms which us disgusting. they always have out of order machines that never get fixed. the final straw is when they got an unnecessary cable machine that takes up the entire turf in the turf room. zach’s club is calling my name
