Excellent place to have a guitar amplifier serviced and repaired. Dan is a very reputable technician, his prices are very reasonable, and he does quality work. I highly recommend Protronics!

Dropped off 2 amps, a newer Marshall and a 50 year old Ampeg. Did a great job on both! Very pleased will go back if I need work done.

DON'T GO TO THIS SHOP EVER go anywhere else or call anywhere else. So I called to ask if they can fix a record player and instead of saying something alike, "oh, if you bring it in, I can take a look at it or we're sorry, we can't fix it. Or we don't specialize in record players."He immediately says, well that sounds like a you problem not mine and unless I can afford 90 an hour for him to take a look at it, he won't be able to do anything instead of being polite and having good customer service he was very unprofessional. He had 0 customer service skills. And that ridiculous, 90 an hour rate and assuming that we couldn't afford it. Honestly, don't go to this shop if you want quality customer service and professionalism.

Super helpful, with knowledge that would soon die if it wasn't for people like him who have passion.

I called and asked if I could take a guitar amplifier in to the shop in order to get it diagnosed, and repaired, if needed. It is the oldest amp that I have ever owned. If it I'm guessing it never had prior servicing, and I am certain it never had any post-1968. Until Protronics. Now. it sounds and plays quite well. We wondered even if any shop would look at it, given it's age and spartan characteristics
