Unfortunately it appears we had the same experience as other customers with the same staff member. Told my son off when he put a book back on the shelf ‘not in order’ even though it’s part of a series. Walked out and went to the much better Dymocks

The two staff members that served me on the 24/05/24 they need a raise and recognition. Their customer service was the best I had ever received and I will be happy to shop there again. I was after a special edition and although they did not have any in stock they went out of their way to search and help me locate a copy until one was found.

The person that served me Jude, was absolutely lovely and helped me find the the books that I wanted to find. As well suggested some books to me.We did have some trouble with the Australian books voucher. But they contacted who they needed to and sorted it out they were very lovely will for sure be back.

Unbelievably rude staff - went into the store with my AirPods in while browsing. I was accosted by one of the staff earlier this week. She froze what she was doing to stare at me in a rude, side-headed way and repeatedly asked if I needed help with anything in a highly condescending manner, even though she knew I couldn't hear her, and it was clear I was not looking for assistance. I know this was an unusual interaction as I go in to the store at least once a week and the staff have never once interacted with me before. I believe this staff member saw an opportunity to 'embarrass' or 'call out' someone and took it because they were having a bad day. It isn't the most original thing to say, nor surprising, but I will not be returning. Looking at the other reviews here this looks like a recurring issue at this store and I hope the girl that works here seeks help, and finds greater purpose, meaning and happiness in life beyond what seems to be deep discomfort, unhappiness and mis-targeted anger towards other people.
