I’ve been going here for years, most instructors are very sweet, only a small handful of very experienced instructors, but understandable to have mixed levels of teacher tenure. However, more times than I can count throughout the past 2-3 years, I’ve experienced a snobby and rude experience when checking in for class at the front desk. I still kept going until eventually it kind of turned me off enough to stop going, specifically because of the snobby vibes at check in (& the classes do the job but not worth the repetitive uncomfortable experience with check in). It’s so very weird. I’ve asked my two girl friends who go there too, and they knew exactly what I meant and they eventually sort of stopped for same reason. I was at a different yoga studio in town today and mentioned this experience briefly to another yoga instructor, who said that they’ve actually heard this too about this Ra studio. I know it’s not all staff, obviously, but definitely some clicky vibes and weird pretentiousness going on. Maybe management could do a vibe check with other guests/yogis and confirm and/or improve this apparent reputation? Sorry had to voice this in hopes it can change for better, would like to want to go to this studio again. I’m glad to see other people’s experiences seem positive based on the 5 star reviews.
