Ranier trained me and my teenage sons and our experience was exceptional! I felt my concerns and goals were heard, my own personal limitations were deeply considered (shin splints and ganglion cyst in wrist) and my sessions were curated around these issues! Ranier was kind, incredibly educated, and always on time. His passion for what he does is very evident, and it pays off big time with the goals set. I’ve been training with Ranier for over 5 years and I would recommend him to anyone looking to begin their exercise journey as well as athletes at various levels who want to enhance their performance. He promotes safety, technique, form and other research-driven approaches that propelled my exercise experience to another level. He is very knowledgable in training through the exercises he provides being evidence-based and he is thorough with his rationales with what we are doing and why we are doing it. He is very respectful and understanding, meeting you where you are at in your health journey. He has excellent communication when it comes to coordinating sessions but also whenever you have questions about particular exercises, how it addresses your goals and walking you through the body’s musculoskeletal structures in relation with the body’s movement and functions. Ranier’s professionalism is extremely exceptional and his demeanor as a trainer makes you feel like you belong in a safe training environment. He is very motivating and has kept me accountable throughout my time with him and that is a key trait I wanted to find when searching for a trainer. Overall, Ranier is one of the best trainers in Charlotte because he has demonstrated expertise in his craft, being a great person to work with, providing effective feedback on my performance and constantly challenging me with high-level exercises that are safe, efficient and multi-dimensional.

I met Rain in the gym last year after seeing him coach his clients for a few months.
