Disappointing Experience as a Tenant My experience with Realestate 88 was honestly quite disappointing and stressful. Toward the end of my lease, I was charged nearly $900 for professional cleaning, even though the property was already clean, which felt excessive. On top of that, they added around $1,600 for so-called Damages to the appliances and missing items that I don’t believe I was responsible for. What made things worse was the poor communication and follow-up. The agent who was handling my lease suddenly dropped off, and no one from the team properly picked up the case. I had to keep chasing them multiple times with very little response. Eventually, I had to raise a dispute with the Consumer protection WA and ended up negotiating directly with the landlord myself, which completely defeats the purpose of having a property manager in the first place. From a tenant’s point of view, this was not a good experience. There was a clear lack of support, accountability, and proper mediation between the landlord and tenant. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Realestate 88 — they really need to improve communication and fairness in how they handle end-of-lease matters.

I couldn’t be happier with the service from Terry. He made the whole process of selling my property completely stress-free. From start to finish, he handled everything with professionalism and care, always keeping me updated and ensuring things went smoothly. He went above and beyond by coordinating with the tradespeople, settlement agent, and all relevant parties to make sure the property was well maintained right up until settlement. I have engaged Realestate88 for over 10 years and all the property managers have been excellent to work with. Kyle Wright and Jordana Francis have looked after my rental property for the last few years and they have my full trust and confidence in anything to do with the property. They are proactive and keeps me informed with any issues and very easy to get in touch with. They are meticulous with the monthly accounts which are always clear, timely and accurate. Their inspection reports are also a delight to read through, complete with photos and updates. I then listed my property for sale recently and engaged Realestate 88 for the sale. The selling agent, Terry Lu, from the very beginning was wonderful to work with. He was knowledgeable and well informed and provided me with good recommendations to support the listing of my property for sale. Terry always went the extra mile and always very prompt in responding to my queries. He kept me up to date before and after each home open and was very empathetic to the tenant who was living there at the time. The property sold and settled in record timing! Kyle and Terry worked closely together between the leasing and selling of my property and it was a seamless process for me from the beginning to the end. When I have my next investment property I will definitely be engaging Realestate 88 again and I would highly recommend them to any potential investors and sellers. They have such a great team and for very competitive prices too.
