I’m very particular where I leave my year old bolognese . He loves his daycare visits. Red Dog makes it a point to know your dog . I’m very comfortable leaving my dog at Red Dog.

Not recommended as a day stay for puppies. I booked the premium day stay here for my 9mo puppy, her first daycare experience, a fact which I made the staff aware when dropping her off. However, I had to cut a business trip short on account of the experience my puppy had at this facility. I was given conflicting stories by different staff about the treatment of my dog, and her GPS/activity tracking device showed that she was given about 20 minutes of movement over the course of 8 hours. When I picked her up the first day of what was originally going to be three days, the staff person told me she’s “skittish”, as apparently they had her in a room with other dogs who were aggressively barking at her, but I did not receive any indication that anything was done to help my dog, and she was distressed when I picked her up. I cancelled the subsequent days and am very disappointed by this experience. Edit: I received a call from the manager who explained the rooming situation and that collars are removed during day stay, hence the limited activity tracking data. He was understanding of and empathetic to the situation I experienced.

Took my Golden Retriever Marley there for the first time this past week and we were thrilled with the results. They did a great job on him as he admittedly came in with Grinch Paws and looking a bit disheveled albeit handsome as all get out. They did a great job with his grooming and it was by far the best he’s looked and we’ve used a handful of other places including the chains. He smelled great and looked even better - highly recommend for your pets grooming needs!

Brought my standard poodle, Bader, to Red Dog for her first grooming in the North End. Shannon gave her a great cut at a fair price (same as I paid in the suburbs). I was very pleased and will return.

Update: he now drags me down the block until we get there. We just moved back into the city and so glad we found Red Dog Resort for our dog. He was a little shy, at first, but it’s now turned into his favorite place. I think the prices are very reasonable and always love the treat of the month. We will be trying the grooming soon but a definite 5 stars for the daycare!
