When I first came to Bret, I was searching for relief from eczema. He was completely honest with me from the beginning, explaining that acupuncture may or may not help. I appreciated the transparency, and I decided to take the chance since I wasn't getting any answers from my dermatologist or allergy specialist. Within three months, my skin had cleared completely with no new flare ups since I started treatment. To my surprise, my stress levels had also drastically improved. My husband was experiencing severe sciatic pain beyond what stretching and steroid shots had to offer. It was to the point where he could hardly walk 2-yards without needing to sit or lay-down. Had bells palsy on the left side of my face and decided to try Acupuncture since I heard it may help. I got an appointment quickly online and during my consultation Bret was open and honest about the treatment how it may or may not help me. We had 2 sessions a week for about 4-5 weeks. He was always on time and very knowledgeable about the process. He was also very kind and open to questions since this was my first time ever trying anything like this. The location was always quiet, clean and peaceful. I didn't shop around with other Acupuncture places but the prices seemed reasonable. I did have to stop treatment a few weeks ago, and I am just now starting to see improvement in my Bells Palsy. While I can't say for sure that it was the acupuncture that is helping my recovery - at the very least it was a part of my week where I was able to relax and have some quiet time - and I felt great after each session. I would definitely recommend Bret and Red Raven Acupuncture as a place to get treatment or just to try Acupuncture as he was very open to new patients and all our questions.
