As a 73 year old woman, I have been a client for eleven years receiving private instruction twice a week. Sent to reform pilates by my doctor because of osteoporosis and low bone density in my back, the discipline of the work has straightened my spine and sent my osteoporosis back into osteopenia. My strength and balance issues have also been greatly improved. But, having Jenny as my dedicated instructor makes all the difference. She cares so deeply for my well-being that she researches and works to find workouts that address specific needs. Her compassion, love and dedication make each session a joy. Forever grateful I am to have found her and this incredible, healing practice.
Cara's 4 PM Tuesday and Thursday classes are wonderful. She is a gifted teacher and makes sure students are doing the exercises exactly right - which makes a big difference. The class is billed as "beg./int." but it is good for all skill levels (except if you are a total beginner Cara will ask you to have a couple of private sessions to be sure you do not hold up the class). I've been doing Pilates for more than twelve years (as has another woman in the class) at five different studios, and Cara is by far the best instructor I've ever had and Reform is the best studio.
Best Pilates studio in Austin. I’ve tried the trendy places - Pure Pilates, Solidcore, the Lagree Method - and Reform Pilates is superior. I do the jump classes and intermediate/advanced with Aimee and the workout kicks my butt every time. Only 4 people per class, soft music so you can hear the instructor, and great instruction.
I have done Pilates at Reform for years now. My trainer, Aimee, is very professional and attentive to my workout needs. I have also had occasion to work out with other trainers in Aimee's absence and they are all excellent!
Love this studio. I made an appointment online, very easy by the way. First class I tried ann intermediate reformer with Aimee. It was a really great/hard/fun class. There's 4 reformers so the teacher is right there if you need her. Class moves right along, lots of challenging hammy and glute exercises topped off with waist work. Aimee has a super nice personality and she is a great teacher. The other clients were very nice and helpful. I'm coming back on Friday.
