THIS IS THE THIRD TIME OLIVIA THE OWNER HAS TRIED TO REMOVE MY REVIEW FROM VIEW. HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAS SHE DONE THIS TO TO TRY AND SAVE FACE. IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE YOURE GONNA KEEP SEEING MY REVIEW MS.LADY. The review she tried to delete, TWICE now: “No rhythm, no timing.” This is what Olivia had to say to our BEGINNER hip hop class after making us perform choreography in front of the class. Mind you, we have gone over the foundations minimally (there are 50 moves and we quickly learned new ones each class), only slowing down a few times. There have been multiple times she has made indirect and direct comments that are off putting nearly every class. “Bad timing” yet they never taught us an 8 count. She never talked about dance class standards and then gets mad at someone for standing behind her while she is teaching. She is rude and talks to us like kids. Now, Ronuelle is wonderful. Great energy! Phenomenal teacher! He made the class fun and comfortable and broke things down so we could understand. My advice, Olivia (the owner) does not need to be teaching. I get you own the studio, cool. However, some people are just not meant to teach. She is not a teacher. Maybe she is a good performer, but does not have compassion or patience. Or don’t teach beginners. Let other teachers who are much kinder, welcoming, and genuine teach your classes. I will not be coming back.

FANTASTIC class last night with Ronuelle, for us beginner hip-hoppers. He really broke things down, repeating the movements slowly many times, showing what the various body parts are doing separately before trying to put it all together, showing how the shifts of weight happen and the transitions/connections between steps, to the point where we could feel and visualize what we're trying for, even if we're obv still beginners at it. I think this is what the intro class crowd was hoping for all along and encourage people to try again, because I think they're going to take it more in this direction. Cheers!

Cool place but not good energy from the intro to hip hop class. There were no expectations to practice outside of class until the end of the class package. We were berated and made fun of by the owner. It’s not that deep. Don’t take the intro to hip hop class if you want to be told you have no rhythm. I have no rhythm and I’m fully aware of that. I don’t need to be told from a “professional dancer” that I have no rhythm. I came to class to mentally check out from my day, not to be treated like a child…
Super honest reviewer
The class was the absolute WORST environment to put beginners. All thanks to Olivia. Ughhhhh the rest of the instructors are awesome. #Slayyyb1tch💅🧸

Olivia was rude to the class and has told us we have no rhythm. The class is for beginners though so no need to berate us for not being good. We’re just there to have fun and she wants us to be professionals by week 3. She made it NOT fun. Overall thumbs down.
