I highly recommend Ried Physical Therapy! I had a "knot" in my shoulder for many many years (35?) that I could not get rid of. Suzanna, Tessa, and Garrett (intern) worked with me over a couple of months with dry needling and exercises to untie the knot and to give me the means to strengthen the requisite muscles to keep the knot from coming back. I've tried other PT or Chiropractic places before, but this is the first time I've had real help. Furthermore, the team I worked with are very genuine and friendly folks -- in the short time we worked together I felt like we became friends. My wife is also working with them for a different issue, and she loves going there. And one more thing: Suzanna is excellent at dry needling -- the best I've ever experienced!
5/5 Stars! Everyone from the front desk staff to the different physical therapists treats you with respect and is very easy to talk to, and each therapist took the time to target specific problem areas. I had a lot of jaw tension in my jaw and upper neck area. I tried massages, but nothing was working. When I went to Dr. Reid for my first consultation, it was great to finally understand exactly what was going on. After my first consultation and through daily exercises, dry needling, and targeted treatments, my pain went from an 8/10 to a 3/10. If you follow the daily exercises the therapists give you, I guarantee you will start seeing improvements within the first two weeks. Top tier service, and I’d highly recommend them!
2nd time repeat customer. Reid physical therapy is awesome! They helped my son after his knee surgery. I had a spinal fusion and knew I had to come see them. Everyone is friendly, very knowledgeable and patient during the process. I was able to work with Suzanna and Tessa mostly and they both were AMAZING. They take the time to get to really know you and get a good plan for your injury. Dr. Reid is amazing as well! I will never use anyone else!
Reid Physical Therapy was a good fit for my needs. Dr. Reid’s philosophy is that I don’t need to pay him to watch me exercise—I can exercise at home. The in-clinic time is spent on physical manipulations, specialized modalities, assessing progress, and teaching new exercises. The team consists of 5 therapists. There is slight inconsistency of care when you bounce back and forth between therapists, but it’s minor. The team meets every Tuesday and discusses all active cases, so all therapists are always up to speed. It works well. The atmosphere is calm, efficient, supportive and fun. All the therapists are super nice and great to work with. I also appreciate the pro bono work they do to provide PT services to the under-served community.
I located Ried PT in two ways. First I looking at who my insurance accepted then further googled and Ried is the only Head and Neck PT specialist in Fort Worth! I called and interviewed the staff person. Since my first appointment I have felt well taken care of and heard. I do not like being left ‘out to pasture’ in PT and I get one on one for the entire time! And they happen to be 9 minutes from my house which is great for me! Kudos to Dr. Ried and his amazing people! They all call me by my double first name which is respectful to my request.
