We held my daughters 10th bday here. The basic party package. Netta was so helpful in getting us set up. Everything was a great success and rollerworld made it sooooo easy! We would do it again any time.
Decided to have my daughters 6th birthday party here. From the very start inquiring about their party packages to the very end of the party I am grateful to say I had a positive experience 🙏 ✨️. Thank you to the staff will definitely need to have a redo for next year 😊 I had family come in from out of town and they loved it as well.
This announcer literally announced the whole time to slow down and not skate too fast. What the heck! This is a skating rink. Bring it back to when I was a kid and we could actually be kids. If you’re concerned about little kids so much, you need to start dedicating a specific day or time range for just those kids or for people who don’t know how to skate. Stop taking the fun out of it for everyone. Just because some people know how to skate better than others. Also we used to be able to request songs, the announcer /dj lady with purple hair, literally told my kid to turn around and just skate when he tried to ask for a song. This place is awful. Used to always come here but after this experience we won’t be back and I also will be letting friends and family know as well. Bring back the fun, not an older lady scolding everyone like your at school.
I visited on a Sunday, which has limited hours so perhaps the concentration of young children is higher at this time. My brother and I both struggled to navigate around a hoard of very young skaters with roller hurdles to learn, children doing skate tricks, children paying no attention to other people around them, and people of all ages skating against the flow of skaters. Accidents are to be expected of course, but there was no direction on the speakers as to keeping in the same direction, no designated areas for little ones who are learning, and there were no safety personnel in the rink to address the many, many, many safety issues. The space is cramped, but functional, and the overall UV reactive paint and carpeting is really cool. Skates and admission is just $10, which is a great value. The skating rink itself is in great condition! I'll visit another time when very small children are more likely to be in bed and see if the experience is better. Edit: The business owner claims the DJ was in attendance and regularly announced to skate in the right direction and other safety issues. However, on that particular Sunday, the DJ was rarely in the booth and the entire 2 1/2 hours I was there, there were NO such announcements and again, no safety personnel in sight on the floor at any time. I do understand the compressed time and large parties, but that doesn't dismiss the business's obligations to do their best to provide as safe conditions as they are able - INCLUDING removing people or specifically talking to them individually when basic safety measures are not followed. I've reduced my rating from 4 stars to 3 following the gaslighting and excuses. No response would have been better.
Great place to skate for families and groups. Attended a school private booking and the kids had lots of fun. Staff was friendly, made sure the young skaters were safe, and were organized. They also have the helpful walker things for new skaters to help balance. They have a snack bar, but we didn't try anything. It's a cool vibe and will have to try it again at night.
