via Google Going to try and make this clear & concise as possible. Initially reached out to them 01/2025 and roof repair was completed in 03/2025. Dealt with Cosmin who was the representative for this project.
There was some rain around April/May and a leak was still present. They sent a guy out, looked like he just applied more sealant and called it good. There was no rain after so I had no way to tell if it was properly repaired.
Some key points before moving on:
1) I was presented the option of financing the repair bill and I indicated I would be interested. When I was billed, they charged my checking account (which I only keep a maximum of $1k in) the full amount and wondered why the payment bounced. I clearly stated I wanted to finance but whatever; moved some money out of savings and knocked out the bill to avoid further mess.
2) I had a large tarp and multiple sandbags over my skylights prior to the repair which I spent roughly $150 on. I clearly stated to remove the tarp, sandbags, and just make a pile in the courtyard. Doesn't even need to be neat just make a pile. They did not follow my instructions and just threw all of it away.
Fast forward to 11/2025 when heavier rain came in. A leak from my skylight appeared. I tried multiple times to call their office during business hours but no one picked up. Doesn't help that they have various phone numbers listed. I tried the phone number listed on Google one more time and it somehow led directly to Cosmin's phone. I brief him on the situation and he said he's currently driving, so send him pics/vids of the leak; perfectly understandable. I sent over the documentation via text 11/17 and did not get a reply until 12/05 basically saying that the leak is not from the roof, but from the skylight. That's all he said, making it seem like he doesn't want the company to deal with my situation anymore. I replied immediately stating I understand and would like to pursue options in completely replacing the skylight.
It is now 01/04/25 and I have not received any kind of response to my last message. I understand it was just the holiday season but the least you could do is say you're out of office, office is closed, etc. and will deal with the matter once holidays are over.
I'm through with this company. Before all this I had an 'under the table' contractor do some roof work which put me in this mess. I reached out to Roof Recovery because they seemed like a reputable, licensed, and bonded business but now I'm in a deeper mess due to their lack of communication skills and apparently workmanship. As I write this, I have new, separate leaks coming from the actual roof (not skylight) in the area they previously worked on.

Kevin Bowersvia Google I had a major roof leak, that was damaging the drywall in 2 rooms. Andrew came out identified the problem, showed me pictures of the roof damage, and explained the game plan. Mariano came out to do all of the repairs discussed. Mariano was amazingly efficient, professional, polite, and left not even a nail behind, from all the old damaged materials he replaced. The repairs look better than the original job done by the home builder. Thanks Roof Recovery, and thanks Mariano for all of your hard work

You did a great job to help us just before more storms are coming our way. I was also impressed in the way You all went above and beyond. The thorough cleanup that you did at the end of each day, made our backyard and driveway look better than it had before you came! I highly recommend you all to anyone needing their roof inspected, repaired, and prepared for storms. I have no doubt that whatever you do, you do it well.

Ingrid Snedecorvia Google From start to finish, we are very happy with Roof Recovery, and highly recommend them. We called several companies for our roof repairs and got 3 in-person bids. Scott of RR was by far the most professional and thorough, spending quite some time on the roof to diagnose our leak issues and taking photos to support the repairs needed. Bonus: the quote for repairs was the most reasonable of 3 bids. The followup by Jesse to schedule the work was timely and communicative. The crew showed up as scheduled - Ernesto, Miguel, and Jesse worked very hard to complete the project in one day, including discovering and repairing some unexpected dry rot. They also installed bird deterrent spikes and a plastic owl on our chimney for no extra charge. They came back the next day to complete the cleanup and left absolutely no trace. We are quite particular, and had a few followup issues - supervisor Jason came out promptly and fixed what we requested without question and to our 100% satisfaction. When the time comes for a full roof replacement, we will go straight to Roof Recovery without question.
