These guys went way out of their way to help us out in a pinch. One of the coldest days of the year and we had service calls stacking up and a service van went down. Made many phone calls to other shops and when we called here these guys understood the urgency and said bring it straight over and we will fix it right away. The owner lent us his pickup truck to carry out a few service calls which kept us on schedule while they did the repairs. They drove completely town to get parts to get us back on the road. There is not too many solid companies out there like this. I am very pleased with the level of customer service this shop showed a first time customer. And have no issue with giving them all my fleet service.
Had my winter tires (off rims) swapped and a full synthetic oil change, got me in same day and service was very quick with zero upselling. Rate was honest, simple, and affordable. Would recommend and go back again in future!
Had my oil change and tire swap done here today — honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at an auto shop! Prices are very fair, and the service was quick, professional, and super friendly. The team took time to explain everything clearly and even helped me spot and fix a hidden issue with my car that I brought lot of trouble and couldn't fix before. Huge thanks to Jordan, Samir, and Issa — all of them were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping customers. Definitely coming back here for future maintenance. Highly recommend Royal Auto Care to anyone looking for honest and reliable mechanics!
Update: September 3, 2025 I was hearing a strange loud clunking and chattering sound after my car went over a pothole on Main St. West. The next day, I decided to have it checked out by Amer at Royal Auto Service. I drove there at about 10 or less km per hour, and the same sound kept happening when going into reverse in my driveway or making even a slow right turn. Upon arrival at Royal Auto, Amer first took my car for a test drive around the neighbourhood with myself as a passenger, and of course, there were no sounds!! So weird. Not satisfied, Amer hoisted my car up inside the garage, inspected the undercarriage for anything obvious- nothing. Then he removed the rear wheels to expose the brake shoes. There was an issue with uneven wearing of the shoes and pads, and at first Amer said that maybe that caused grabbing that made the sounds. However, after further thought, even though I had said the garage could proceed to change both brake shoes, Amer said "You know, maybe just leave it be. We can just put everything back and you monitor. it" What an HONEST car mechanic!! Needless to say, I haven't heard those sounds ever again, and it is now October 30th as I write this. So, you need a car mechanic that you can trust? You MUST come here and see Amer!! He is like gold!🥇 Orignal Review: July 7, 2025 I had a really good experience with Royal Auto Service on 1580 Main St. West in Hamilton for an air conditioning system flush and refill in early July 2025. I had a good idea in advance that all my car's AC needed was a flush and refill, so unlike other shops that I called that wanted to charge me $130+ for a "diagnostic" before doing anything, "Amer" ( I think that was the name) charged me about $160 taxes included for the job. They also have modern and sophisticated equipment too for this AC work - see photos. Amer was friendly, professional and treated his customers with respect and fairness. A truly positive experience, which is why I am writing. I will not hesitate to use Royal Auto Service again for any future car repairs.
I can’t say enough good things about this shop! They went above and beyond on my 2014 Chevy Equinox. They tackled a blend door repair (which meant taking the entire dash apart and putting it back together perfectly), fixed my flex pipe that was completely disconnected, did a transmission fluid change, replaced the rear sway bar links, rear wheel hub assembly, and inner tie rod, all for an incredibly fair price. What really impressed me was not just the quality of the work, but how quickly and professionally. Everything was done right the first time, no upselling, no nonsense, just honest, hard work and great communication. If you’re looking for a shop you can actually trust who knows what they’re doing, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future repairs. Look for Jordan or Ameer, they will ensure that you leave in a better and safer car than you drove in on.
