We had high hopes for this place based on the reviews online and how nice the facility seemed to be on the website. I boarded my dog for a weekend with them, expecting a photo every day, and for my dog to be able to play in group outside every day as well as for them to follow her written food plan. Instead, I had to follow up the next day for my first photo. The person on the phone said they fixed the system issue for why I didn’t receive the text message. I never got another photo. When I picked her up on Sunday, they handed me her bag with collar and leash inside, and rather than take the collar to put on her or put her on a slip lead, they let her into the lobby with no collar or leash. The lobby has a push to open door and that can be dangerous if any other guests had come in. When I got her on collar and lead and got their attention again (someone else was checking in) they told me she was not allowed in group. They never did the evaluation they told me would happen, and had written down the intake instructions incorrectly. My dog was exhausted, and crawled right to bed when we got home. Only then did we notice the bag of fresh food she (and her brother) went with was not returned to us. Only about half the dry kibble. There should only have been additional fresh food, no additional kibble, so I do not believe they followed the feeding instructions for the dogs either. At this point I am just glad my dog is home safe, and without harm. But if your dog has any kind of health issues requiring them to follow instructions, I would stay away from here for now.
Before taking my dog (Ruby Rhinestone) here, we could tell she was depressed after we moved. She seemed very uninterested in anything and very sad. I took her to Ruff Resort and Spa unsure if she would like it. At first she seemed a little unsure, but after going there for a month I noticed she was acting like a puppy again (keep in mind, she is a 8 year old bulldog). Now almost a year later, she LOVEs going here. As soon as I get her into the car, she is jumping and barking like she is rushing me to get her there sooner. As soon as I pull into the parking lot, she is ready to jump out the car and run inside. Now she playfully barks at the staff as soon as she gets there pretty much telling them "LET ME IN!!!". As soon as she gets home, she is out for the night lol. The staff is so caring towards all the dogs and I LOVE the activates they do, especially the ones that they can take home. I appreciate the staff so much. They are transparent and will answer any questions. Ruby loves it there and I always recommend it to other pet parents.
Ruff Resort is amazing! Our pup, Scout, loves going, and has made so many friends. She comes home completely wore out, making it so much easier after work. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!
Ruff Resort is the best there is! They are so accommodating and loving. Our pup is a rescue and doesn’t do great with other dogs, so they keep him separate from the group. But he still gets great 1:1 time with workers and plenty of time outside! They are great with his meds and keep track of everything he gets dropped off with. We love the daily picture updates, it puts our mind at ease while we’re away! We are so thankful for them and truly can’t think of a negative thing!!
Ruff Spa is a wonderful place to take your furry friends. They offer great customer service and a loving atmosphere for your pet. My dog especially loves the teachers at daycare. He comes home wore out from so much fun play time. I cannot say enough about the owner and staff. They are amazing and take great care of Leroy. Look at this happy face!
